regarding askew hunt: I saved texts from this guy. 1) he did not book the hunt, his wife did. we ask hunters to book, themselves, so that they are made aware of the fact that this is a non traditional working mans meat hunt: meaning traditional excess are trimmed from this hunt this is why...

the price is $350 for 3 axis and not $3500 for one like everyone else! : IE: no lodge, no room and board, no trophy room, no guide, no cleaning guy, no safari truck, no large acreage, no stocked fenced in play pen for hunters to get a "guaranteed harvest" 2) this guy quoted four hunters coming, but only three showed up, breaking our agreement, we didn't hold that against him, I kept his texts, you can see that he intended to bad mouth us from word go. a "COMMON SCAM" in hunting a)post a bad review, pay for the hunt, go on the hunt, (cherry pick), not get anything then point to the bad review in hopes of getting your money back and ur hunt free b) bringing a large group out of state with a business check, these are often cancelled because of "your bad review" , with a little research you find that the check was cancelled b4 the hunt started and conveniently b2b does not fall under "theft by check" in texas! 3) he signed a waiver, which I will include a copy of, 100% of our hunters are required to sign the waiver: Make note of bullets which states ANY CONCERN YOU HAD was addressed b4 ur hunt, to your satisfaction completely, bullet: which says noise beyond our control and causes you disappointment is not our fault and bullets which say "CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL" has a negative impact on hunt and voids ur re hunt. his biggest mistake was having someone else book the hunt, I can genuinely say that he was not informed because it was a "surprise" from his wife for his birthday. Like a juvenile party boy they went through a case of beer, he should not have drunk alcohol (imagine four guys drinking a case of beer, then going in and out of a blind to go to bathroom and hope the noise isn't noticed by nature) and read the waiver he signed! GENUINE COMPLAINTS: fall under, I paid a deposit and never got a date. I had a date scheduled and when I got there, somebody else was hunting. We don't even allow "the feeder didn't go off" complaints anymore, as we recognized it as tampering! every time we got that complaint, conveniently the feeder cam sdc card was "pulled/missing"  Quite frankly we no longer consider "complaints" from skunked hunters. we consider complaints from hunters who got one!!! What do I do that for? well every year we get good honest hunters who are happy with their hunt, but every year we reach a new "low" with the children in grown men bodies that hunt here: 2016 the low was: a guy shoots a axis in nov 2016, then calls feb 2017 asking for a  free re hunt? I say, WHY? he says, "I didn't get one" I said, "you sent me a pic of the axis you shot and then cleaned with my gramble n cleaning station" he said "o that one! I ran that one over with my car b4 I got to your place, I figured road kill didn't count! yall count roadkill? your a scammer!" not to be outdone 2017's low, was a guy who shot a whitetail, then asked me to meet him at the cleaning table quartering his kill. he said "I want my money back, yall are played out and aint got no deer!" I said what makes you say that? he said, "well my wife read a complaint online that yall aint got any deer out here! "
