The consumer making this complaint has received a service for a fair price Service performed flawlessly Payment made eventually There does not appear to be any issue left to resolve, except perhaps this consumer's unsatisfied sense of entitlement. Having been in business since 2011, Sisu Builders (Not "SISU) has built many fruitful relationships and received positive reviews on various platforms Woucustomers will not find a negative review from anyone other than the person making this complaint We wish to terminate this discussion and get on to satisfying more customers Thanks, have a great day!

[redacted] (We agree with Mr. [redacted]'s statement "work was performed as agreed upon", & noted this in our original complaint. However, we strongly disagree with Mr. [redacted]'s statement "invoices for as agreed upon", as we never discussed invoices nor did we receive a prior estimate. Also, we don't favor Mr. [redacted]'s non-informative invoice system, as there is no way to know exactly what you are paying for, nor is there any accountability for the contractor. In addition, our bill appeared "excessive" for the task performed. Finally, we disagree with Mr. [redacted]'s statement "paid for as agreed upon", as there was no mutual agreement on the billing amount. We simply paid the bill, as both parties were heading into a "no win" situation. This being said, there was never an issue about paying SISU, as we reimbursed Mr. [redacted] (3) times prior for work completed. In this particularly case, we questioned SISU' billing amount ($1,600) for a "pedestal meter: materials & installation" per invoice. Therefore, we requested Mr. [redacted] provide us with an itemized bill. Surprisingly, Mr. [redacted] responded in a very defensive & oppositional manner. He maintained this demeanor throughout this conflict, & never provided additional info. Eventually, we contacted the subcontractor who was more than willing to provide us with an itemization. TJ Electric sent this info., likely because they are a reputable, honest, responsible company. On the other hand, we eventually learned from Mr. [redacted] there was an added charge in our bill for "trips" to our property. This wasn't disclosed on our invoice, & concerned us further about other hidden fees. In addition, we found it difficult to deal with Mr. [redacted]'s lack of transparency, sarcastic & angry demeanor, & overall general disrespect toward the customer. These "unethical" business traits are not what we are looking for in a home builder. Therefore, we discontinued our plans to have SISU build our home, & wouldn't recommend them to others. Documentation is available upon request for all info. provided in this report & original complaint form.
