By participating in the risk free trial and enrolling for a trial order, members will be shipped a watch for $5.99 S&H. Our members are given the opportunity to try it for 14 days to enjoy their purchase and determine if the item is a suitable fit. If not, the unopened item may be returned within the allotted time by contacting our Customer Care toll-free line or by via email. To which our members are then given a RMA number.
If our members are satisfied, they do nothing and agree to be charged $98.00. Plus, they agree to be enrolled in our Monthly VIP Membership Program where 45 days from their initial order date and every 30 days thereafter they will receive a new item for the discounted retail price of $98.00 (Free Shipping). Our members have the option to cancel their VIP Membership at any time.
On 07/17/2015 in an extremely irate manner the consumer contacted our customer service call center in an attempt to gather information regarding the charges she incurred. Although the consumer repeatedly interrupted our customer service representative and used profane language as he attempted advised the consumer of the Terms and Conditions she agreed to upon signing up for the promotion, the consumer was thoroughly educated. The consumer admitted to not reading the Terms and Conditions, however requested a refund. Our customer support representative explained the very strict return and refund policy in which the consumer agreed upon order placement.
Contrary to the consumer's claim the evidence within this document will show that she knowingly participated in our risk free trial starting at $5.99. Her failure to cancel within the 14 day trial period resulted in the account becoming a VIP membership as specified within the terms he agreed to. The consumer enrolled for the fourteen (14) day trial on 06/03/2015. Upon sign up customers must agree to the terms & conditions and privacy policy that are presented on credit card payment and enter a valid credit card and CVV2 number before proceeding any further.
Upon sign up users must agree to the terms of use and privacy policy that is presented on the site as well as enter a valid credit card and CVV2 number before proceeding any further. Please note that the recurring membership fee is mentioned on the payment page within the "Satisfaction Guarantee" section. If a customer does not cancel the trial subscription and return the merchandise; they will then automatically upgrade to a recurring VIP membership per the terms entered into.
Although the consumer simply failed to cancel the 14 day trial period nor returned the item to avoid becoming a recurring VIP Member, after careful consideration on 7/17/2015 our billing department manager decided to go against our strict no refund no return policy, meet the customer more than halfway and offered the consumer a courtesy refund in the amount of $70.00 along with keeping possession of all products received. However, the customer declined our courtesy offer. Despite the consumers decline of our offer and in an effort to seek a resolution, our Billing Support Manager has issued the consumer a courtesy refund in the amount $49.00 (50% of charge incurred). Respectfully, this is the extent of resolution to be met with the consumer.

The pop up screens never indicated it was a subscription to anything nor did it mention it was a 14 day trial for the watch. I read everything to make sure I was not being scammed. I've even tried getting on the site after this incident occurred to show my bank how they operate and it's impossible to access it. The pop up screen comes up randomly and you can never access it again. Very questionable.
I never stated I did not read the T&C as I read everything to prevent from being scammed. The phone rep made every attempt to dissuade me from filing a dispute with my bank by using scare tactics claiming they had "screenshots" of me clicking on the boxes agreeing to the T&C. He stated the bank can not reverse the charge because of it and that the company will also not refund my money. He was very adamant and confident about that.
Angrily I demanded my money and let them know I would be filing a dispute with my bank. He then started speaking to me in a nice, calm manner as if he was now willing to help me and said he would place me on hold and contact the company to see if they will refund my money. The rep works at a company that is basically a call center for many different companies. I inferred they manage the calls for the different companies. I told the rep he had just stated I would not get a refund, but now he's going to try to "talk" to the company to get one. He denied saying I wouldn't get a refund so I reminded him of his exact words. He placed me on hold and when he returned he said he was able to talk the company into refunding me $70. If the company was not using false advertising, they would have never agreed to refunding more than half of the money. They're still trying to make $28 on anyone who asks for a refund. Very devious!
If this company's advertising is legit, they would have stated, as clearly as they did about the $5.99 shipping and handling, that it was a 14 day trial and that $98 would be charged every month. They do NOT do this.
My bank did reverse the charge so I was able to get back my $98. A couple of weeks later I received an email from this company stating I was receiving a $49 credit. I immediately called them because I thought they had charged me another $98 and trying to refund me half. I discovered from the phone rep that the $49 refund was the resolution to this Revdex.com claim then she told me I needed to delete the complaint from the this website. I told her I already received my $98 and that they were trying to pay me $49 to not warn others about their scam. I told her to keep the $49. She said it wasn't true and that the $49 was already being returned to me and that I would see it within a few days or so. I told her thank you and I hung up.
Stay away from any pop-up screens asking for a survey if you want to avoid scams like this.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 18, 2015/08/17) */
The company reversed their $49 refund that they claimed was for the Revdex.com resolution. They actually gave me a $49 refund to remove my complaint from the Revdex.com's website. Since I did not remove it, they reversed the $49 and debited my account. Very shady company indeed. Stay away from them.

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 8, 2015/05/15) */
I want to cancel my complaint, I received a call and they said I complained to the wrong company, that once I canceled my complaint they would refund me the money
