The customer and I reviewed the definition of edits when they hired meI explained that I can do such things as make images black and white, selective colour, and other such manipulations to the image at no extra chargeI also told them that I would adjust lighting for them in post-process editing
before submitting the finished project to themI even explained that as an extra bonus, I would alter the wording on a pillow they posed with to "Just Married"Which I didWhat the client is asking for now is to remove background clutter from their apartmentThe bride lives in a small apartment in Washington DCI never said I would remove items from their apartmentAn example of this is that they wanted to pose on the couchThey still have tags on the couchAfter they received their images, they asked me to remove the tags from the couch-I never said I would do such extra workWhen the client's daughter (the bride) sent me a list of things to remove, I told the groom that I would do some of them if they could be easily done, but that this really didn't fall under the scope of what I said I would doI did do the ones that could be easily removed, but I am not prepared to do any moreThe client told me that the removal of such items would cost $from a place she checkedHow could she expect me to have done this for free (since I only charged her $in the first place)? I had the day free, and charged them far less than I usually do anyway *(Any competitive pricing guide will show that the cost of shooting a wedding ceremony averages about three times what I charged them) and now they are expecting extra work that I never said I would do! I find this beyond ridiculous, and so I told them that I was not going to do it

I had the displeasure of having to manage Sean and how to conduct himself properly at my weddingApparently he has an assistant which helps "reign him in" to keep him focused and on task, though she wasn't there for my weddingOverall, he was there to chat and be a member of the wedding crew, not to be inconspicuous and professionalI had to entertain him with conversation, pulled away from my events to sit and have arbitrary jokes explained to me about my mother-in-law, members of the ceremony were rearranged at his whim in the middle of my ceremony, he delegates tasks to the groomsmen such as, "Hey, unlock my car and throw these chips in there.", throwing his keys to them, explaining there should be no problem with this, it's not like there's a bomb in itDespite these social inadequacies, I was going to just be glad I was getting photos of my wedding...until I saw them on Flickr, only to have everyone strange colorsI was hard to see, I was glared out and my husband was bright redUnnatural colors! I explained this to Sean only to be told I didn't tell him what I wantedIt's his job to make the pictures look nice and have us skin colors, not mineHe also gave me lip when all I asked for was the basic editing done to them, as though I was asking for too much or had no idea what I was talking aboutI want to see my face with no glaring and I want other people to be their proper skin tone, not red, purple, or orange, which they areAs a result from his attitude, unprofessionalism, and his resistance to correct any of his editing flaws, I am on my THIRD photographer who is trying to successfully edit and correct his horrible jobI just hope the third one is the charm! All of the photographers I've contacted trying to fix these have each told me he should be ashamed for doing this to a client, especially on her weddingWhat has me writing this review any place I can for him is that what little editing I could squeeze out of him, he edited out Jesus in a Lutheran church for a religious ceremonyI don't care what anyone's religion is, just because he's affiliated with a religion that isn't mine doesn't mean he can erase JesusIt blows my mind that he can't take the time to pare down the photos he took and edit them so skin looks like skin, but he has time to play around, not do the simple things I shouldn't even ask him to do, mouth off at me when I do ask, and then wipes out Jesus insteadWas he there to do a proper job or hang out and impose his religious views? Who knows, but I suggest to everyone: if you want a quiet, inconspicuous, professional photographer who does a proper job without their hand held and won't inject their religious views into your religious ceremony, DO NOT HIRE THIS GUYYou will regret having to cater to sitting off to the side from your very expensive and milestone event chatting idly about comics and bad jokes inappropriately made towards the in-lawsSave your wedding!

Then it appears we've reached an impasse
