Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regarding the closure of this complaint, I take exception to the description of closure as having been addressed by the business but the customer remains unsatisfied I am unsatisfied because the response from the business provided no remedy, merely a statement that he has had some tough timesIn the meantime he went on to fraudulently collect more money from other customers for work he never intended to complete To summarize, the business owner has not addressed the issuesAll he has done is make excuses for why he will not address the issues Is there a closure category for that or a place for me to make a rebuttal to his response? after signing the contract to install the new door we did not hear from the customer for a few weeks then he contacted us and told us he was busy and now was ready to install the door I told him it would be a few weeks to get him back on the schedule and ask him to use our phone or email to contact us that we dont check thumbtack every day and it does not notify us when we have a new message he still tried to use there program so communication was slow he then ask for us to just give him the door but he had not paid enough to cover the cost of the door so I had the door returned I would be glad to return his down payment and will be putting a check in the mail as soon as I get the return from the door company

they are correct we had some hard times and have tried to accommodate all the work that was going on my mother and grandmother died soon after that my bank account was hacked and money was stolen the fraud department at my bank has moved very slow in recovering those monies all of this was explained to each customer and I ask for their patience in my hard times on top of it all I had employees that were not working in the company interest so it was a hard battle to fight but I am still fighting I fully intend to refund the overage on this account but more work was done than just demo so im not sure I agree with the 20k figure but am willing to do what I need to make all of my customers satisfied

I am rejecting this response because this image of a check is made out to someone else and has nothing to do with my caseMr*** dba SK Design owes me over $20,for uncompleted work and supplies that were never delivered When I receive a check for that amount that can be deposited in my account, I will be satisfied.

I am rejecting this response because: Based on information from others who have been defrauded by this business, I think it is extremely unlikely that a refund will be forthcoming. Since the KENS story ran
last night, at least more people have come forward to report that they had been bilked of thousands of dollars.The only time I have received a response from this business in several weeks was after the story about his business practices ran*** *** is a convicted thief, fugitive from justice, and continues to prey on consumers in central Texas

we are going to return his deposit we are sending a payment via cashiers check today

not sure what date she sent this to you but I have talked to her at least times since then I am currently having dificulty with the supplier and told her I would refund her money out of my own pocket but that it would take a few weeks to do that
