Keltom Gutter Services did perform the service at the customers house 12/18/2017. The service we performed included bagging the debris into bags and taking them away. The techs do the best they can to get all the debris into the bags but sometimes yes some leaves will fall to the ground.  We do...

not use blowers (like other companies) which leave a considerably larger mess. The customer called to ask for the single bag of garbage left by mistake to be picked up and was told that yes we would send someone out, no time frame was given. The winter was extremely harsh with temperatures and wind chills in the single digits and we did not work for 25 days combined in December and January. As soon as we got back to work in January we sent our techs to pick up the bag and small amount of debris which is what the customer complained about. We did speak to the techs about their language and apologized to the customer for their behavior.  We offered to take $20 off the bill and was told this is not acceptable even though the customer admitted the techs did a GOOD JOB CLEANING THE GUTTERS. As the owner's wife I felt that he had spoken to an owner. I never told him we would send him to collections, as a matter of fact I told him not to pay the bill at all! If the customer gets this upset about some leaves then I am sorry that we did not perform as well as expected. We have serviced this home since April of 2011 with not one complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: The work was never done. I had the gutters cleaned just prior to them coming. I called and offered to pay partial because I forgot to cancel the contract. The said fine. After they received my partial payment, they asked for full payment and added interest.

We received the information from [redacted] and have settled this problem. There was confusion on the tax amount for the gutter cleaning. A credit has been issued and [redacted] accepted this resolution.Beth D[redacted]Keltom Gutter Service

[redacted] placed this complaint on March 22, 2016, we were not aware there was even a problem until March 23, 2016 when he called the office to say his screens were coming up. At the time of the call he and our supervisor discussed the problem and possible causes that the screens may come loose and...

[redacted] was told that we would send our field supervisor out to take a look and see about resolving the problem.  March 24, 2016 the field supervisor did go out and determined that due to the 3 feet of snow and ice from the major storm this past winter sliding off the solar panels and colliding with the screens that a couple of the screens did come loose. We replaced the damaged screens and [redacted] seemed satisfied with our assessment of the cause of damage and the repair that we performed. We use high quality materials and have trained technicians perform the work.  Unfortunately we have no control over the weather and snow and ice may cause damage to your gutter system.                    .
