Our men's hockey league policy states that if you engage in fighting during a hockey game you will receive a 5 game suspension (non refund for these games). This has been our policy for the last 8 years and is communicated with every team captain every season. Since this player has been here for...

several years he knows the policy. This has drastically reduce fighting during games. If refunds were given for this suspension it would not support the no fighting policy. In this instance both players were suspended for 5 game. The claimant actually instigated the fight by squinting his water bottle in an opposing players face. This action was witnessed by our referee's and the incident was captured on video tape. All games are video taped and stored for 30 days for security purposes.?

This place is completely outdated and beyond unsafe to have any physical activities going on. The playing surface is dangerously slippery from the humidity. There are zero forms of air condition or a dehumidifier. Roller hockey is nearly impossible to play under these conditions without everyone slipping and falling all over the place. It's a miserable experience, and someone is going to get seriously hurt. They keep charging their insanely high prices and there has been no upgrades to the place to make it a safe and enjoyable experience. They should not be able to operate under such circumstances.

Review: I had purchased a full season of Mens League Roller Hockey on September *, 2014 from Skate Safe America. The purchase price was $245.00 and as shown on this flyer is supposed to include a minimum of 11 games: [redacted] On 10/**/2014 I was playing in a game when the refs whom are employed by this establishment lost control of the game. Incidentally, the refs are good friends with members of the opposing team. The refs had told me to leave the game because their had been 3 penalties called against me. Instead of safely escorting me off the rink like they are trained to do, they left me by myself and I was approached by a person of the opposing team in an aggressive and hostile manner. I tried to skate backwards and retreat, but was unable to do so. He then hit me in the head with his helmet and I fell to the ground. In an attempt to protect myself, I began struggling with this male in a physical altercation. He then pushed me down to the ground on my back and began slamming my head into the rink. As I asked the refs whom work there for help, they refused and said "Let him get his licks in". I suffered abrasion to my forehead and the back of my head due to this altercation. I also have substantial pain to my back and head. As I managed to make my way off the rink and leave the establishment I was told by the [redacted] that I was suspended and could not return. I had asked him if the male who attacked me had been suspended also and he laughed and me and said "Do you think I am going to suspend my friend?". I then told him, I would not return so long as he refunded the 6 remaining games on the schedule. He refused. I told him that it was the rinks responsibility to ensure the safety of all users, and to further enforce the rules fairly for all parties involved, and that I just want some of my money back. He refuses to give anything back.Desired Settlement: I would just like a refund for the remaining 6 games which would be a total of $133.62
