[Again, we paid for the electrical to be updated, and it wasn't.  We paid for windows to be installed and had to hire another contractor to come in and re-do them (no insulation or caulk by Powers/Sidekick).  Siding was installed incorrectly and had to be totally removed.  We are repairing the damages.  No footings were poured under the deck and bathroom addition...I had to hire another contractor to come in and fix this.  No permits were pulled on any of  above work, despite a commitment to do so.  This ensured no inspections were done to ensure the contractors work was up to code.  We have spoken to some of the subcontractors hired by Sidekick and learned that some of the electrical was performed by an individual that Powers calls his daughter (unlicensed and unqualified to do the work).  We have had multiple contractors inspect the siding and all three told us the siding was installed so poorly it had to be removed.  The contractor installing the siding cut the trim on historic windows without any consent of ours...this done to make his job easier.  We have pictures, video and attestation by other contractors detailing the poor work.  Since this complaint, we have also had the roof work he did inspected (again, he did not pull any permit), and some of the roof also needs to be redoneThe contractor took our central air conditioner from our site, and has failed to return it, despite promises to do so...we have correspondence detailing his intention to return our air conditioner and he has not.The contractor has promised us 10% back on the total amount spent on the jobs and has not provided 10% back...we have correspondence between us regarding his promise to pay-----Original Message----- From: [redacted]> To: [redacted]> Sent: Mon, Dec 14, 2015 2:43 pm Subject: Re: Current payoutsone more question...are you including the 10% off in the billings? From: [redacted]> To: [redacted]> Sent: Mon, Dec 14, 2015 2:59 pm Subject: Re: Current payouts3.5 % up charge for phone transactions...a wire transfer would be cheaper sir...I thought perhaps Jody would be in town...sorry...crazy weekend[redacted] Powers Construction [redacted]On Dec 14, 2015, at 3:01 PM, [redacted]> wrote:We usually run the discounts off the back end as it is predicated on volumn...however...we trust you impeccably...let me know[redacted] Powers Construction -----Original Message----- From: [redacted]
