I am rejecting this response because:We were
never made aware that this was a "special" order. The offer of in-store credit presumes we would trust this business ever again. The offer of a refund came with the caveat of a 30% restocking fee. I do have the correspondence to prove all of this.

Skeen Furniture Warehouse does not offer refunds on special ordered merchandise.  We understand the customer's specific situation, and tried to accommodate them with a store credit or partial refund in this instance.

I am rejecting this response because:My husband and I were never made aware of any "special" order status. We never signed any statement to that effect nor were we told this by the salesman.A 30% restocking fee is ludicrous not to mention unethical. No where did we see any statements about a restocking fee. We rejected the offer due to the untenable nature of the response. An in-store credit is unacceptable. As previously stated, we do not trust the owner of Skeen Furniture. We would not be comfortable spending any more of our hard-earned money at any of his locations.We request the return of the full amount of our money for the bedroom suite.

Thank you for your response.  Skeen Furniture Warehouse does not offer refunds or returns of any kind on special order merchandise.  This particular order falls under that policy.  SFW has offered a courtesy exchange or store credit for the amount of the purchase.  We have also offered to take it back with a restocking fee as a courtesy.
