Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Hello Scott,There are units with the following Models and Serial Numbers as you requested.Unit 1Outdoor unit: [redacted] SN: [redacted] Air-handler: [redacted] SN: [redacted] Unit 2Outdoor unit: [redacted] SN: [redacted] Air-handler: [redacted] SN: [redacted] Unit 3Outdoor unit: [redacted] SN: [redacted] Air-handler: [redacted] SN: [redacted] All three units are installed at the same [redacted] a two story single family residential buildingThey were installed at the same time in The serves the house as follows:Unit serves two bedrooms and bathrooms.Unit serves living room and kitchenUnit serves upstairs office, bedroom and bathroomThe three outdoor units are located on the north side of the property about a feet from the exterior wall of the house and about foot between the units side by side on a concrete foundationThe three indoor units are located in the insulated attic space inside the building envelope.There is no significant difference in useAll three units have fresh outside air intakesIt's a regular residential buildingThere is no special work activities or work with chemicals in any of the spaces that the units serve.All three evaporator coils are excessively corrodedUnit and have confirmed leaksUnit probably doesn't have a leak, but it hasn't been measuredUnit has not had any compressors replaced and seems to work as expectedOne thing I notice is that the construction of the airhandler mixes different metals copper on the coil and a shroud of Al/Sheet metalThe shroud piece is corroded at the points of contact with the copper in the coilI'm attaching a picture of the shroudIt's unclear what function the shroud serves since the side of the air-handler has padding and is sealing the inside of the air-handlerThe compressors have been replaced on more or less regular intervals of - years with the first failure in 2013.best regards,hans Regards, [redacted]
