Date: 07/14/2016To Whom It May Concern:It is always a concern to us when a client cannot find something.Our cleaners are carefully screened and trained to enter your home and respect your possessionsHowever, their position is always a vulnerable one, especially when things go missing in a home
where they've been cleaning from room to room on a regular scheduleIn our experience, very often items are misplaced or put away by the resident(s) and not by the cleaning crewWe could cite quite a few instances where we received concerns that items were missing, only to learn few days later (sometimes even weeks later) that these items were lost during trips, found in pockets or inside unimaginable placesFor these reasons we kindly ask you to take some time to carefully think when was the last time you saw your item and if there is a possibility that it was lost any other way besides by theft.I would suggest the client to look carefully for it in possible or impossible places before concluding that the cleaning crew took itWe never had any problems with the crew in this regardThey have worked very hard with us for years without any such complaints.If after careful consideration you really believe that a theft happened at his home, the best course of action is to file a police reportWe will be providing any information required by the investigationAs I have mentioned earlier, our crews are often put in very vulnerable positions because they are the first ones to be fingered at and the last ones to be cleared of such accusationsWe are very saddening about the incident at his home, but no one can assume that the cleaning crew is the responsible part for item(s) missing without clear proof - Please let us know what he wishes to do.Thank you for letting us know about his concern and rest assured that we will do our part to provide our services with quality and dependability.Regards,Liliane L*** Skilled Maids President

I am rejecting this response because:  This information is not responsive to my situation.  I trusted these cleaners in my house and made sure they were licensed and bonded in case of theft.  Not only is this company refusing to accept responsibility but they want to remain ignorant to my situation.  I was recently enlightened by my spouse that a necklace had gone missing a while back.  It was after a cleaning and we assumed that it was just placed into a different location (even though moving an item is not responsible, you clean around it and do not touch someone's belongings).  To this day, the necklace, [redacted] and cash have not turned up.  If the situation is as you claim, then these items would have surfaced by now.
