This is a misleading scam and advertisingI clicked on an add on Facebook stating that Shoppers Drug Mart warehouse was overstocked and giving away free samples, limit of per household and only had to pay for shippingI was asked various questions like age, gender, skin type etcit recommended a face and eye serum and I only had to pay for shippingI received a sample of eacha few months later noticed there were charges to my credit card from SkinCentricI called and was told it was not free but a trial sample and when I didn't cancelled it becomes a monthly subscription and my credit card was charge for the that were sent and they sent a second face creamtotal charges were $US - $CDNI have called and asked for a full refund of all products as the add is misleadingThey had never even heard of Shoppers Drug MartThey have offered to refund and I have to send back and pay for shipping but do not want to refund for the third chargeThis has also been advertised as Costco warehouse if fullThe adds have nothing to do with Shoppers or CostcoI have called many times and talk to someone different each time and get different answers

This is a misleading scam and false advertising. I clicked on an add on Facebook stating that Shoppers Drug Mart warehouse was overstocked and giving away free samples, limit of 2 per household and only had to pay for shipping. I was asked various questions like age, gender, skin type etc. it recommended a face and eye serum and I only had to pay for shipping. I received a sample of each. a few months later noticed there were 3 charges to my credit card from SkinCentric. I called and was told it was not free but a trial sample and when I didn't cancelled it becomes a monthly subscription and my credit card was charge for the 2 that were sent and they sent a second face cream. total charges were $274.80 US - $366 CDN. I have called and asked for a full refund of all 3 products as the add is misleading. They had never even heard of Shoppers Drug Mart. They have offered to refund 2 and I have to send back and pay for shipping but do not want to refund for the third charge. This has also been advertised as Costco warehouse if full. The adds have nothing to do with Shoppers or Costco. I have called many times and talk to someone different each time and get different answers.

We believe the company is guilty of false advertising. We opened up an advertisment on Facebook that implied this company was approved by Costco. They offer a free sample for the $4.95 with credit card. After checking our credit card statement we realized we have been billed $89.95 2x in 1 month. We received a small tube (1 fl oz) and called the contact # to cancel. We were told to ship the 2nd delivery back but on the hook for the 1st shipment. After a month no second shipment so had to cancel credit card for fear of more charges. Upset with the advertising -no mention of additional cost with a free sample and not sanctioned by Costco.

Review: I purchased one sample of SkinCentric Face Serum and Eye Serum. I paid for the samples in full at the time of purchase. I canceled about a week after receiving the products because I didn't like the products. I never received any other products from them. On the 20th of May,approximately 4 months after I received my samples, I received a collection letter from [redacted] ( P O Box [redacted], MA -[redacted]) for $174.90. I didn't order any other products or receive any other products from SkinCentrics so this charge is complexly invalid.Desired Settlement: Cancellation of this disputed debt to the Collection Agency ([redacted] )and ultimately SkinCentric and a correction of information that might have been reported about me to all credit agencies.
