I would like to take a moment and address you numerous complaints and untruths
It is untrue that Skinner Autoplex sold you a vehicle that can't pass Deq, I have told you multiple times that I have a current Deq Certificate (please see attached)
Why would ANYONE
purchase a vehicle that they hadn't even driven. In all my years in the Automotive Industry, I have never sold a vehicle to someone who had not driven it first. ( Although this is not Illegal.) I also have a dealer copy of the buyer's guide signed by *** ***I can only assume you were given the customer copy as confirmed by my Finance Manager
The purchase of an extended service contract is NEVER required by any bank orSkinner Autoplex to obtain financing. In fact, the front page of the service contract states, and I quote, "It is understood that the purchase of this Vehicle Service Contract is NOT a requirement to purchase or obtain financing" (please see attached)
It is true that Skinner Autoplex requested your service contract company pay for the needed repairs, that is why you purchase a contract, so that we may start a claim for you
Skinner Autoplex had no knowledge of a burnt valve at the time of delivery, and therefore has committed no insurance fraud whatsoever (please see attached safety inspection ) The initial claim was denied due to the fact that during your phone interview with the service contract representative, you informed him that the vehicle was knocking loudly when you drove it off the lot. This is what I was told by the same representative. I tried explaining to him that no one in their right mind would drive a vehicle off a car lot making the noises this car is now making without turning around immediately and bringing it right back. I became aware of the problem not on Thursday, the date of purchase, or Friday, Saturday, or even Sunday, but on Monday, four days after the vehicle left our lot in good running condition
I have repeatedly told you I was working with the Service Contract Company to try and resolve this issue. I have sent in an escalation form to try and overturn the denied claim(please see attached.) You have been offered a loaner car by the Service Department twice, which was declined both times
When I last spoke with the service contract representative he informed me that these repairs are a 100% covered item under the contract and the car could have been fixed weeks agoIt is unfortunate that we are now in this situation due to misinformation given to the representativeAt this point, they are denying the claim based on a untrue pre-existing conditionI will contact you when I have a final answer from the Service Representative regarding the claim escalation
