Review: A contract was signed on March 12, 2013 to have [redacted] install an exposed aggregate walkway at my home. A deposit of 50% was paid at the time of signing. There was a period of rain which prevented [redacted] from working on this project. On May 26, 2013, we both agreed that is [redacted] was unable to do this project within two weeks the contract would be cancelled and the deposit refunded. After many phone calls and text messages regarding the refund, it is now July 2, 2013 and we have neither a sidewalk nor a refund.Desired Settlement: Refund my deposit of $833.00

A contract was signed on March 12, 2013 to have Skinner's Landscaping & Construction to install an exposed aggregate walkway at customers house. The total cost was 1666.00 to do so. We did collect 50% down at the signing of contract. The customer was informed at the signing of contract that we are booked as much as 180 days out. We did go there on April 4, 2013 to prep up everything for the pouring of concrete, Such as building the forms needed to do the job and removal of debris from the old walk way, (which was half the job). We was way ahead of our dead line. There was an agreement made between customer and this company on June 26, 2013, (not May 26, 2013). Because of all the rain we was having that if we could not have the job done in two weeks that I would personally return the monies that is owed. We had already done half the job on April 4, 2013. I met with customer on July 2, 2013 and them a check from [redacted].** Check #[redacted]. I did charge them 236.00 for our labor, and materials. We was still within our deadline on the contract.
