When the car was brought in on September 23, Skip determined that the car needed a complete valve jobThe customer was given a price of for the valve jobThe customer put money down (300.00) on September 26, After the motor was torn down Skip noticed the car needed a coolant fanHe contacted the customer and informed them of this problem and told them there would be an extra charge of They wanted to bring their own parts so they didAfter the car was finished they picked it up on September 2, and paid (400.00)A week later September 9, they brought the balance of and they brought the car back with another problemThe water pump was leakingSkip informed them that the water pump was leaking and they needed to take care of that right way because that will cause the car to run hot and blow the heads againHe advised them not to drive the car like thatThe customer said they didn’t have any more to fix the car and they would just have to drive it until they get the moneyThe customer said they would just have to keep putting water in itTwo weeks later September 22, they called and said the motor was not working againThey were informed that because the water pump was not fixed when it was an issue and he told them not to drive the car like that or the warrantee would be voided; he was not going to cover the motor again

When *** *** *** came to the shop to get an estimate on his transmission he explained what was wrong with his truck and *** informed him that the reason he is having this problem is because he is driving the truck in overdrive when he is carrying a heavy load and he is not supposed toHe
told him he should not be driving the truck in overdrive while carrying a heavy load or it will destroy the transmission*** *** informed *** that it saves him gas by driving it in overdrive and that's why he does it*** informed him that if he keeps doing it he will always have problems(This is in the owner’s manual of all vehiclesSee the attached)*** fixed the transmission and *** *** called him a few weeks later saying he hears noises coming from the transmissionHe asked him if he was still driving in overdrive with a full load and *** *** said yesHe told him that he will not be warranting the transmission because he told him he was going to destroy the transmission if he didn’t start using it properly. When the customer brought the car in the diagnosis was determined The additional charge came up after skip tore down the motor and realized someone else had done some work on the car and it took him extra time to clean up their workAfter repairing the car he also noticed that the customer
needed a water pump; it was leakingWhen the customer picked the car up he told them that they needed a water pumpHe showed him where it was leaking at and told him if he was going to drive it it was going to blow the heads againThe customer said they didn't have any more money to fix it so they were just going to drive it until they got the moneyThey were informed up front they could mess the car up again if they did not fix the water pump that was leaking and drove it. When they called later and said that the car was messed up again they were told that skip was not going to fix it because he told them before they took the car from the shop that they should not be driving it without fixing the water pumpThey still continue to call back almost everyday to be told the same thingHe told them he was not fixing the car for free again because of the water pump that they knew about before they left the shopThey chose to drive the car with the bad leaking water pump when they knew it would mess up the heads againHe said he will fix it again but it would not be for freeHe didn't feel a need to have to keep returning their phone calls after he already told them once

I had already picked up my car ,drove it for a day then a day or maybe a couple days later is when I noticed the leak & @ that point I return to skip & advise him of the leak it wasn't at the time of service as he stated he did say the car may need a water pump & wanted another to fix it However the car stop leaking , the car never overheated any & all fluids that he put in the car is still in itIt wasn't a very bad leak as he statedI wouldn't be able to drive the car around almost weeks if it was overheatingHe refused to even look at the car after it stop working even though it was still under warranty How can he make a diagnostic w/o an evaluation? What proof do he have that the water pump is the reason the car stop working? He is refusing to do the evaluation B/c he knows the evaluation will prove he didn't fix the car properlyif he is so sure of himself he would prove me wrong but he knows what the outcome will beIt's been confirmed that the car stop working B/c it has no compressionHe needs to take accountability for his work How can someone just make an hypothetical diagnostic w/o a proper evaluation? He can't just assume that this is the reason the car stop working
