Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Just for the record, my first contact regarding the problem with the drop shade, was in August 2015. I can verify that through phone records. Yes, when I phoned, he was in the area and did respond that same day. His claim is he never encountered this problem before and stated he would have to contact his sales rep to determine what course of action should be taken. What he isn't admitting is I called repeatedly the whole month of September for a status update and he NEVER responded. Again I can verify that through phone records. As you know I filed a complaint with "Revdex.com" and didn't receive a response so I filed a complaint with the Washington State attorney generals office. He contacted me a few weeks afterwards and wanted to ameliorate the situation. I responded that I had sold my home. Now he claims to respond to the "Revdex.com" stating that he wanted to satisfy the complaint however this is subsequent to the house being sold! How magnanimous! He still has not addressed why I was not provided with an owner's manual and warranty information for the "Sunstopper" product. In truth the only reason he chose to respond is that the attorney generals office recommended I pursue the issue through the courts. He has misrepresented himself as being responsive to a consumer's complaint. I would never recommend him and feel in no way deserves an A+ rating from the "Revdex.com". Sincerely,[redacted]

We did sell a Sun Stopper style retractable awning to Mr. [redacted] 10/26/2012. We gave him the choice to a Sun Setter or the upgrade to the Sun Stopper. We did go out to the customers house last year to look at the drop shade on the front of the retractable awning it was having trouble coming down, I...

did tell Mr. [redacted] I would have to get ahold of my representative from Sun Stopper to see if he had run into this problem before. The time between my visit with Mr. [redacted] and my Rep.getting back to me i'm not sure why we did not get the problem resolved last year. I did give Mr. [redacted] a call after receiving this complaint to set up a time to go out to take care of the drop shade, Mr. [redacted] informed me that he had sold the house and no longer lived there. If there is any more information you need please get back with me.

We are sorry if we did not meet MR. [redacted]'s expectations. Our customers satisfaction is always our top priority. Here is the information he asked for. The warranty is available upon request. It is a generic manual and warranty. We have been in business for over 40 years. Try as we might, we cannot make everyone happy.
