Review: I found a service listed. SKJ Services LLC. Tree removal etc., on Craigslist New Haven. I contacted him and we received a quote for $500 to trim our trees and leave a pile of wood chips. Paid him the $500 and he trimmed our 2 trees. Good job. I have been waiting well over a month for the wood chips. I contacted him and he gave me a song and dance about diesel gas for $5 a gallon and it was to expensive to drive here for that. What the heck. He was paid. He could have left them the day he drove here to do the job. Can you help me?

Review: On January 15, 2014 I contacted [redacted] of SKJ Services, LLC., through an advertisment he had placed on [redacted] for seasoned firewood. He agreed to deliver 2 cords of firewood at $200 each. He delivered those on 1/17/2014. At first glance, all looked well and good it was only after the wood was stancked it became clear that most of the wood was scrap and the amount was much less that 2 full cords. After attempting to burn a few pieces it also became evident that the wood was very green, so green that it smelled freshly cut. I contacted [redacted] via text and verbally on 1/19/14, after some disagreeing, we agreed that he would give me $200.00 back and would deliver an additional cord of hand picked wood. Eight days later, he sent his emplyee [redacted], who arrived to drop of the $200.00, only to return $190.00 stating he needed gas, and that he would be delivering the cord of wood in the morning, because the trailer was wasn't working. The wood was never delivered. I was then told the wood would be delivered 2/2/14 "weather permitting." the wood was never delivered. I was then told it wasn't delivered becasue they "had the flu". With all of the snow, that we had, I knew he wasn't going to deliver until it had melted. I then contacted [redacted] on 2/28/14 reminding him of our agreement. I heard nothing from him. The wood was still never delivered. I then sent him copies (via text) of our agreement on 5/13/14. I heard nothing from him. I contacted him again on 5/14/14 and 5/16/14 asking about delivery and he never responded. I then contacted my local police department who took my statement and directed me to file complaints. Almost seven months later, still no wood delivery.Desired Settlement: I want the cord of hand picked wood delivered.
