When I first emailed the business I had to call as my first email was not responded to, I have a full time job and I have other ppriorities that made it difficult to get there where was a whole week that I sent the email and did not hear backSo the ball was in the court of the business and it is not on the customer to have to conform to what works only for the business.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Skn Spa Inc regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Who ever responded to me refuses to issue me a refund and has offered other services, where I do not want any association with this
business at all. Dear ***,Thank you for informing us, as we try our best to solve any issue with our customersWe are always here to help; if I recall, you left our spa with a positive feedback and enjoyed your facial very much that nightBut afterwards, you had some side effects which we tried to addressWe invited you to come back so that we can try to resolve it, but you refused to come in, so therefore we offered you at-home remediesOur spa policy applies to everyone, without it we wouldn't be able to run our business properly, therefore we have to be firm with itPlease understand that we are trying to reasonable and that we did offer helpIf you have further questions, feel free to contact me.

For the birthday email that Jacqui received, it stated that she can get her 30% birthday discount on one single service for her next visit within 30 days of her birthday. In that birthday email, it did not state that she cannot combine with any other offers or promotions. However, for the email...

of April Spaweek Promotion for the entire month, it stated that the Spaweek promotion "cannot be exchanged/combined with any other offers, promotions, gift certificates, third party gift cards and series or prior services" at the bottom (Please check the attached files). Therefore, when Jacqui called on April [redacted] to confirm her appointment on April [redacted] at 12pm with her birthday discount, we told her that she cannot combine these two promotions together which we stated in the spaweek promotion email. In addition, for the upfront charged of $25 for Jacqui's appointment, we already refunded it to her on April [redacted], please check the attached file. -- SKN Spa ###-###-#### [redacted]

In response to [redacted] complaint, we have never received your email of complaint. If we did, we would have replied promptly. I actually called you about 2 weeks ago, and left you a voicemail asking you to call us back so that we can address the issue, but you never returned our call. As I mentioned before, in order to have any sort of resolution, you would need to come in the spa and do it in person. We can't just simply give you what you demand via phone. And I'm sorry, but this will be my last response to this complaint. If you need further assistants, do call us.

My issue was not the refund. My issue was their false advertisement. Their appointment booking site reflected promotion prices and it included the 30% off birthday discount as well when I clicked on the link. If promotion and discount were not able to be combined it shouldn't have allowed to book the appointment as well as charged my card. As a business these errors should not occur. If they do occur the business should honor the error and rectify for the future. I don't feel I was treated as a valued customer.

In response to [redacted] complaint; Acknowledging that [redacted] was very pleased with the results after her facial, we offered her a package deal that was limited to most customers. She decided to take the offer and put a down payment of $125. A few days later, she demanded a refund via phone, because she had some skin reactions. We immediately invited her back to our spa, so that we can address her issues properly. But she declined; she refused to come in leaving us the inability to resolve it in person. Although our store policy states that there are no refunds, there is always an exception. However, we would need to be able to see it in person before making any decisions. Therefore we gave her the option to use the down payment as store credit towards any services/products/gift certificates at our spa.
