I am rejecting this response because:
I must respectfully decline the offerI have provided several pieces of information on connecting rod failures due to sources other then a defective part to skunkracingNone of the outlined conditions fit the circumstances of their connecting rod failureIf necessary I can ship the engine off to Full Blown Motorsports to have them perform a failure analysis of the engineThey are a reputable tuner and builder of this particular engine, and have several engines making almost twice the power of mine running on the roadways todayIf this is the route that is chosen, and the connecting rod is found to be the point of failureI ask that the shipping cost of having the engine brought to them be paid for as well as having my engine replacedI feel like this is a fair deal as I am not asking them to pay for the labor of removing and replacing the engine, nor am I asking to have them pay for the damages caused by the engine fire from the failed rodI am also not asking for any type of compensation for not being able to use my car all summer and fallI have also never asked to be paid for the train tickets I had to purchase to get my family back home after the rod destroyed my car on our family vacation, or the towing bill to move the car milesOf all the things I could ask for, I just ask please can my engine be replaced?

I am rejecting this response because:I don't want to waste the Bureaus' time or my time on thisWe are going back and forthThe fact is you have the ability to take care of your customerWho up until now, was loyal and bought multiple parts from your companyBut you are choosing not toTo not stand by your productAnd are blaming me for alleged modifications that never took placeNothing was modified on this coil-overRemoving a top nut, which is designed to be removedis NOT a modification. The internet is filled with similar complaints just like mine, after I have done some research on thisI'm surprised there are not more on this siteProbably because folks don't have the time. But, I can call my credit company and do a charge back on thisThe problem with that is this will hit the vendor that sold it to me, who has been very helpful to meUnlike SkunkSo I am not going to do that. This is a Skunkissue. If you're not going to replace this please state soI'm sure the Revdex.com can make their resolution, and we will be doneBut please stop the "you modified" commentsThey are not true or factual. Thank you,***

We will stand by our Skunkproduct and have attached the document with proof that the customer knowingly altered our productWe do not warrant an item that is altered for now reason.?

We have been in contact with the above referenced customer on various dates and are aware of the current situation.? We have asked for photos and details as to the buildup of the engine and the other components used in the build of the engine.? We have not received all the items necessary
to verify if the purchased connecting rods (306-12-1010) were the culprit in the engine expiringEven without the proper documentation and verifications Group-A Engineering (SkunkRacing) did offer a replacement set of connecting rods along with discounts off other items that would work on the customer’s vehicle.? We have not received a response on the inquiry and now we have this notice from the Revdex.com? We are a design and engineering firm that specializes in high performance aftermarket racing components for the last 20+ years and pride ourselves on reputation and commitment to the customer, however, in almost all aftermarket racing items the warranty is on the product itself which is why we offered to replace the rods.? Engine building is also dependent on all the other components in the motor which can cause many issues.? Generally, when an engine expires you must look at all components and do forensic investigating to see what the cause and effect were.? Many times, a broken valve, broken valve spring, seized piston, bad fuel injector etccan all cause an engine to expire and have the effect that this customer has experienced? Group-A Engineering is committed to customer satisfaction; however, we can only offer warranty and replacement on the part itself and not the complete engine as we do not know how it was assembled, how it was driven, how it was tuned etc.? ? Let us know if you require more information? Thank you, Group-A Engineering
