The customer said she had bought the laptop for school. Twenty-five days after she purchased it she and her husband came in and told me she was not going to go to school and didn't need the laptop. I explained to her that our return policy is 14 days with a 20% restocking fee, after that... we treat the computer as a potential used purchase. We did not have the need for another laptop at the time, so we offered her other avenues to sell the computer, like Craigslist and eBay. Her husband became so quickly and so violently belligerent I felt threatened, and had to ask him to leave the store. After he left, I insisted I replace the battery (She told me not to bother, I told her I would be more than happy to replace it). I got the battery in, and sent a text message informing her of its arrival. As far as our return policy goes, it is the first thing you see when you walk in the door. It's at eye level. I've enclosed pictures. When I took these I noticed someone had (recently) written "no" on it.

Our cameras located where they can get a view of the cash register (in front), behind the counter aiming at the bathroom area, and the service area. In the event of a shortage or robbery, they are useful, but no camera shows the front of the counter where the policy is displayed. It would be to my advantage to have a camera on the policy, since someone wrote "No" on it. I would certainly like footage of that. Unfortunately for us, the footage auto-deletes to make room for more images every days. We have verbally extended the offer of a screen replacement, and here we are putting it in writing. *** I cut your visit short because I and my wife felt threatened by your husband. While we are able to defend ourselves, we felt the need to de-escalate the situation instead. You are welcome to return to get your screen replacedYour husband is not welcome in the store, and since you are the customer, that should be no problem

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. If this man has cameras in his store then he can pull up the day that I bought the computer and you will clearly see that the return policy is NOT posted anywhere! In fact when I went in to return the thing I asked what the return policy was and the lady working said that she didnt know that I would have to come back. Its easy to take a pic and send it to you guys but he did NOT have those posted when I bought the computer nor was it there when I took it back. He may think he is smarter than most but he is not and I now have colored lines going down the screen of my computer and I just bought it in june as I stated! I should not have a computer that is dying a month after I bought it!! I want my money back and I want the tapes from the day that I went into the store so you can clearly see that the return policy was NEVER posted!! This is NOT resolved and Im offended and pissed off he owes me money especially if this computer dies any time soon, which im pretty sure that it will!!
