Sky Connections

Review: sky connections charged me to move my tv service and internet service for dish network 344.59 of which 200.00 was labor he also charged dish for the tv service move. he was here for 2.25 hour he stated his labor rate was 85.00 per hour. bottom line he double billed. here is my complaint dish stated they move service for free when I confronted sky about this sky said dish would charge 149.00 for the service this circle of conversation went on and on at which time I had dish switch the service. I contacted sky to pick up the parts left by dish and bring me a refund. sky agreed sky came to the property I thought to pick up the product I showed him the product is brand new in boxes boxes that he could resell sky started to argue about why he should sky was told to leave the property and not come back.Desired Settlement: I will hold the product for a few more days at which time I will hire a disposal company to haul away the product and charge sky for it in small claims court the approx value of product is 200.00 to be picked up by someone other than david of sky connection and bring me my refund of 344.59

I have done business with [redacted] twice in the past. He contacted me to re-install his Dish Network TV & Dish Network Internet services at a new location. Dish Network pays for the TV move under a promotion but not the internet (that promotion is not available to the Dish Network dealers). I quoted him $200 labor plus parts for the internet at my cost of $134.50 + 10.09 tax. I did a site survey and we met face to face agreeing and setting an installation date of July 21, 2014. I performed the duties as described... he approved... wrote me a check and deposited. Since then, he found a better deal from Dish Network. Dish Network UN-installed my equipment and installed their equipment. [redacted] now wants a full refund. I met with [redacted] to discuss the disagreement. I explained to him that I already did the approved work and entitled to the payment. He became angry, through down his soda, called me a f---ing liar (ending the discussions), and was told to leave the property and never come back else that would be considered a threat to him.

Response:

A standard Dish Network TV or Internet installation provides for mounting to a building's roof or wall. Dish network allows the dealer to charge additional for the ground pole mounts. [redacted] elected to provide the pole himself. There was a location closer to the house that would have not interfered with the trees but [redacted] elected to locate it away from the house thus requiring trimming of the trees. I ran the cables along the back of the house as a temporary solution due to the house remodeling.
