Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because I would like a refund for a job not done.Jarred at Sky consultants has hounded me for around years promising me 2% rate down from 6.125.He has even told me to stop paying my mortgage.I have excellent credit and my mortgage and bills are paid on time. This guy tells you what you want to hear. Finally after years of him begging me,he said he would take down and when I get the modification.I told him I didn't want to ruin my credit and I didn't want an escrow account either.Jarred insisted that the only thing to change was the rate. That he could save me a couple hundred a month and my second mortgage would go away.So with that said I agreed to do this.He called me on the the at 3:pm.I was at work,he told me the modification went through.I told him I was working. At 3:pm discover notified me of a charge.I called Jarred right back and he denied the charge. He said the office must have done it.So I got home that night around 7:pm ,got the mail and was mortified to see the options I was given by my bank. One was take 5.125% + escrow for months for a trial period. Two was do a quick sale and three was give my house to the bank.Ok why would I take any of these.Again I'm not behind and have excellent credit.I could have got a loan anywhere right now.I would not save a a month either like Steve says.I only owe years. The is just an estimate.Nothing was set in stone, and of course I refused any of these deals.I also have emails from Steve telling me to be careful what I do,cause it would cost me attorney fee.I have all the paperwork from the bank and could send it to The Revdex.com if you would like to see. This company is should be ashamed.I am sickened to have let Jarred talk me into this mess.I am glad I opted out with the bank on this trial. At least my credit won't be destroyed. This business should do the right thing.Instead of making up figures that doesn't ad up.They would have destoyed everything I've worked hard for
I just wanted to clarify the date I signed the contract from Sky consultants. That would be Nov.8th.I also have that in an email they sent me.Also on the attachments they sent you.Page is void it's says if signed after Oct ** the in which they predated all of them. But the date I actually signed was well after the date written
*** ***

Dear Revdex.com and *** ***I am very confused by *** ***'s allegationsFirst off, she was never ever promised 2%When she asked what the rates were in modification, she was told that they go as low as 2% with the government programsShe was told that that in now way was 2% guaranteed and that the
lender determines the rate, but we would do our best to get her the lowest possible*** *** was in fact approved for a modification by her own attestationHer prior rate was 6.25% and the new modified rate was at 4.875% not 5.125%That is a reduction of 1.375% which is a significant dropAdditionally we are in the midst of working on a modification on her second mortgage, in attempts to get her even more of a savingsAs for her saying the savings were only $51, that is because as she said they incorrectly added flood insurance, which we were in process of getting removedthat would have made her savings more substantial and closer to $100/ monthWhich means a saving of $36,over the life of the loanWe believe that is a very good savings based on her loan size*** *** understood that any rate change was considered a modificationSee attachedThe service agreement specifically states on paragraph lines 8-that modification isn't guaranteed and that modification consists of change of interest rate among other thingsIn her case her rate was reduced again by 1.375%As for her saying we charged her improperly, this is very inaccuratePer the credit card authorization she signed which I have attachedLine of the credit card authorization states that her Discover card will be charged in accordance with the terms of the service agreementThe service agreement which is attached as wellParagraph line specifically states that the balance is to be paid within days of obtaining the approvalThe approval was obtained on January ***, It was mailed on January ***, and it was received on January ***, She admitted that she received it on the ***, just because she was at work and the approval was in her mailbox doesn't mean she didn't get itHer card was charged on January ***, the date the approval was received and a week after the approvalBottom line is that it was charged days from the date of approval as stated in the contractThere was no wrong doing, nor was anything inappropriateSky Consultants Inc, stuck to the letter of the contract in which *** *** signedAs for her creditThat is not something we address, or handleWe have never claimed to handle anything of that natureI am sorry *** *** is unhappy, and we don't like unhappy customersHowever *** *** has been difficult to deal withShe contacted us to address her unhappiness and when we responded and offered to try and resolve her discontent, she stated that we are harassing herI don't understand how responding to someone's complaint is harassmentWe have offered to resubmit in an attempt to get her a better modification, but she has thwarted our attempts to try and fix the issueAs for a refund, none is dueWe did the job we were contractually hired to doHer rate and payment were reducedInstead of thanking us, for a job well done, she files a complaintIt is unfortunateShould you have any questions please call us at ###-###-####Thank you Steve G

I will respond to many incorrect responses that sky consultants has written. when I hired sky consultants my mortgage was under four years in the rears and they where well aware
of my situation at the time and like all good salesmen I was convinced that by hiring them they where to make all my worries go away by getting me my long awaited modification. when I hired sky consultants I paid them $2,500.00 which I find out now that they are not supposed to collect unless the modification goes through.
I was never asked by sky consultants if there where any liens on my home and to the best of my knowledge at that time there weren't. I only found out that there were liens on the property when sky consultants contacted me and told me that suntrust had sent them liens that where on the property I did not recognize any of the three consumers so I immediately went to the county clerks office and found out that those liens were for another [redacted] that lived in another town then I did. I relayed this information to sky consultants and they passed it along to suntrust mortgage. a couple weeks later they sent me a new set of liens these I did recognize and immediately contacted the companies to try to settle with them, while this process was going on I was in constant contact with sky consultants informing them that I was not having much luck with the settling of credit card debts. they offered there assistance for an additional $1,000.00 and of course I agreed I just wanted this to be over they did not have much more luck then I did and I was getting the funds together to pay them off. At no time did sky consultants express urgency or even let me know that if not settled within a certain time frame that the foreclosure process of a sale would take place. sky consultants had no idea that there was even a sale date until I asked them about it because of other letters I was receiving in the mail from other attorney offices that there was a sale date of November **, 2013. at this point it was November *, 2013. [redacted] then told me to hold on and he was going to find out what was going on when he got back to me on Monday November **, 2012 told me to go to supreme court and file an order to show cause to stop the sale it did nothing because the judge did not sign the stay order. when I told other attorneys this they said it was ridiculous for me to have gone down and that sky consultants should have done it for me as for I did not know legal terminology. sky consultants did not put me in contact with [redacted] until November ** not the [redacted]. which I also would like to add that I was informed that [redacted] was an attorney who just so happened to work in the same building as sky consultants not that he was there office attorney. while speaking with [redacted] at 5 PM the day befor the foreclosure sale he told me to come to the office with $3,500.00 and he will "TRY" to get the bankruptcy filed befor the foreclosure sale which just so happened to be at 9:30 AM, one I didn't have $3,500.00 on me and two there were no banks opened at that time and three he never would of had it filed in time. I did not go against legal advice as sky consultants would like to claim and the fact that just now I am finding out that the attorney [redacted] is actually affiliated with the company upsets me even more.
I stayed in constant contact with Sky Consultants, I did not go against legal advice half of the response by sky consultants is just not true and if need be I have phone records and e-mails to prove it

I would not recommend this company at all!! Sky Consultants employee Jared N[redacted] called me for almost two years trying to get my business. After getting screwed by another company I finally gave in and hired him. He got me a forbearance (temporary fix) "to buy him time to negotiate down my total loan amount owed". After the forbearance payments were over he told me I needed to give him more money in order for him to keep helping me because his job was to get me a deal and that was the deal he got me. Being desperate with a family, I gave him another $500 on top of the initial $2,000 to get my total principal reduced on my loan. He assured me this was no big deal to do. Well, that was 2 months ago and I have spoke to him 1 time since then. Everytime I call either no one answers or his "assistant" answers and tells me he is busy and he will call me back. Which he never does. Now I have to sign a remodification that I could have gotten on my own. Sky Consultants stole $2,500 from me! They are preying on people who they know are desperate, and that is NOT right! Oh, and he also told me they were accredited by the Revdex.com. It says on the Revdex.com site that they are not. Just another LIE

[redacted]. Obviously you are upset, and looking for someone to blame, and looking at is us. That is fine, but you know it's not the truth. If you honestly feel that we are to blame for your foreclosure after not paying your mortgage for over 4 years, and only starting the process with us well after there was foreclosure proceedings started against you, again that is fine but not accurate. The bank filed for foreclosure on 7/*/2010. you had a court date on 10/**/2010, where you didn't show to defend yourself, or hire an attorney to fight the foreclosure. You came to us on 8/**/2012, after the foreclosure was all but complete. As for your friend, you can ask him if his case was easy. No modification is easy. I am glad you did your homework, because what you have found is someone telling you what you want to hear, no matter how incorrect it is. Also as for the law you are referring to, it doesn't apply to attorneys. I sympathize with your situation [redacted], I honestly do, but Sky Consultants is NOT to blame.

I do not know who is writing the responses but it seems like multiple people are responded all who do not have knowledge of the situation in its entirety. I will state again that when I hired sky consultants [redacted] told me he would be capable of getting me a modification he was well aware of my situation, he knew how far behind I was on the mortgage, he was well aware that had stopped paying my credit cards so I would have extra cash incase I needed it for the modification. The further I investigate myself the more I find out that every company besides sky consultants does a title search on the property to make sure that when the bank is ready to move forward with the modification there are no hiccups. never once did sky consultants even suggest it. So again yes Sky Consultants knew everything there was to know about my finances.
Now for the documents that where requested, how is it possible to give you a satisfaction letter when I received a settlement offer from one of the credit card companies ONE WEEK befor the foreclosure sale and that settlement letter was sent to me by your office, that's right your office who I gave an additional $1,000 to help settle the credit card bills. So again I will state that who ever is responding to this does not have the knowledge of what is going on. As you use the anology of fighting a war it is difficult to stomach this was when you are taking it so lightly the fact that you are to blame for me losing my home. sky consultants did nothing but play secretary and handle as little amount of paperwork as they could. sky consultants was hoping for an easy pay day like all there other cases but when they actually had to do work they did not know what to do so they blame me.
Sky Consultants again wants to bring up that I went against the advice of an attorney and that this all could have been avoided, so again I will state that one the attorney that was recommended to me was an attorney that sky consultants is affiliated with, and now I feel as if I was strong armed into giving more money up. Two the attorney Bruce told me at 5:30 PM to come to his office with $3,500 so he could claim bankruptcy for me( what average person has $3,500 sitting in there house). no banks where open I could not get the money. and three the foreclosure sale was the next day at 9:30 AM never would the paperwork have been filed befor the foreclosure sale.
I got your number from one person and one person only whom which you got a modification for and it went through with out a hitch Im not debating that because that one was easy and sky consultants didn't have to do much.
I will state again there was a law that was passed that no money should exchange hands until the modification is complete because of companies like Sky Consultants.

On August [redacted], 2012 [redacted] signed up with our firm to work on modifying his mortgage, as a referral from another client. He was 4 years behind on his mortgage at that point. Well behind the allowable time for his lender to begin foreclosure. By his own admission he tried modifying several times...

on his own. He didn't alert us about any liens or judgements other than the mortgage, as he told us there were none at that time. On May [redacted], 2013@ 2:46pm [redacted] from Suntrust alerted us that the file was pending approval, but there were judgements on his title stopping the final approval. One from Chase for $18,790.92 and another from HSBC Bank of Nevada for $7072.41. At that point He was advised that he had to settle these judgements to get a final approval. At that point he became unresponsive, not answering calls or letters until August [redacted], 2013. At that point he asked us to work out settlements on the judgements, so he could complete the modification. on August [redacted], 2013 We obtained a settlement offer from chase for $5,500.00 and from HSBC for $3,500.00. [redacted] was alerted, and told he needed to pay them ASAP as the bank was setting up to escalate foreclosure. [redacted] told [redacted] that he would pay the judgements that day. He never paid the judgements, and subsequently the bank placed a November [redacted] sale date. On November [redacted], 2013 he met with our office attorney [redacted], and was alerted that his option was to allow the foreclosure or file for bankruptcy protection, to forestall the foreclosure. Ultimately, he decided to not act by neglecting to pay the judgements in a timely fashion. Not getting back to us in a timely fashion, and ignoring legal advice. The loss of his home is no ones fault but his own. The bank may foreclose after 3 months of nonpayment. he was 5 years behind. Had he followed instruction his loan would have been modified per the bank. If he has any questions, he may contact our office council at ###-###-####. Thank you

[redacted], I believe you may be confused as to the situation. Sky Consultants Inc. obtained 3 different modifications for you. All fees paid to Sky was earned. You recieved a forbearance agreement on 9/**/12 which satisfied the contract. Please see attached.  However, as a good faith gesture...

because you were unhappy with it, we reapplied and obtained you another modification on April [redacted], 2013. Your old payment was $3038.79 at 5.25% as you can see by the old statement attached. Your new payment was $2739.56 at 4%. a reduction of 1.25% in rate and a savings of $300.00/month  not $30.00. I'm not sure if that was a typo on your part. So far that is 2 modifications. Our work was done. However, the bank called you and told you that there was an error on the paperwork and required you to sign another copy with a lower principle balance, as the principle balance on the modification was higher than you owed. At that point you told them to cancel the modification, because you were angry. You called us, and we told you the modification was complete, and if you wanted us to try and reinstate it, it would cost $1000. Subsequently, we got them to reinstate the modification through a l lot of work, and that brings us to the 3rd modification we obtained you on May [redacted], 2013. See attached. After you accepted that, and your modification was complete for the 3rd time. Months later, you defaulted again, and told us you wanted to sell your house. we told you the file was complete and you told us all was done, and you were done with it all. You told us the bank wouldn't give you a pay off figure and asked for our help. We obliged and obtained a payoff. Shortly after that, you called us and talked to our attorney, and told him the deal fell through and you were in foreclosure and needed help. You were alerted to the fees, and told us you'd get back to us. I'm confused as how we did you any injustice. As a matter of fact your file has still been followed up on by our attorney every few weeks to ensure that you don't have a sale date. You have not been billed for this or any additional service. Our office considers this closed and no refund is due. Please see all attachments of 3 modifications obtained, and the mortgage statement. I'm sorry to hear of your complaint, but Sky Consultants Inc, has done everything possible to help you.

What you are saying is simply not true.Jarred called me the day I fell at work and hurt both my feet.I told him then I didn't want to do this and again he said I'm going to get you 2% and you'll LL save a couple hundred a month and your second mortgage will go away,,and the bank said it would affect my credit.Secondly you predated the contract 10-25-16 except one sheet I signed and dated on November *-2016 which is the correct date.On page 6 the agreement between me and sky would be void if signed after the date which your company put on there. It says void if signed after 10-**-16.I signed it well after that date.Thats what your company wrote according to your contract.Thats what you keep telling me.As far as you saving me 36,000 over the life of the loan, that's an outright lie.I owe 17 years,so half my loan is already paid off.First of all they sent me a trial period, not a modification.I opted out of this deal with my bank,so there's another lie.Theres no way your working on my second mortgage. My bank won't even speak with you.Like I said I can get a mortgage anywhere at 3.25 % .So don't act like you did me a favor.Your crooks and treat people like they have no brains.Well this person does have a brain.I'm not about to ruin my credit for a small saving as such.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Real awful customer service, nasty workers that hang up the phone whenever you call. I paid my money to these [redacted] call thousands of time to speak to Yenny. She is never available not matter which day of the week you call . Once you pay her your money that's it. Please go somewhere is to do business.

I don't know what to tell [redacted] other than I'm sorry you are upset. Your APPROVAL, which you sent I attached Page 3 Paragraph 3 line 5 clearly states your interest rate is expected to be 4.875% which is a full 1.375% less than you had. Additionally Paragraph 1 of the same page line 8-9 states that if you are current and you make all your modified payments then your loan will be reported as current. I have no idea why she believes this would destroy her credit. No where in there does it say that. [redacted] clearly wants to interpret the facts whatever way she feels like. How can she say we did nothing? a reduction of 1.375% is clearly something, and in strict accordance with the contract. We have offered to try and resolve her issues in a fair manor, but she is resistant. She is not due a refund as Sky Consultants Inc earned the payment as per the written contract. As for dates on the contract. [redacted] had no intention of cancelling the contract nor did she return the cancellation papers requesting cancellation. Again her file was approved and we helped her lower her rate. Secondly her second mortgage modification with citizens one is still in review, so there is possibility of additional savings.

There word means nothing, don't let this company talk you into anything. They will screw up your credit if you have good credit. If your current on your mortgages and taxes,go to a bank these guys will tell you to stop paying your mortgage.what a joke.

Review: we originally hired sky consultants and spoke with [redacted] who told us it was 3000. for a modification if not received they would refund 75% .. told by [redacted] the bank reduced our pymts 30.00 and to pay mortgage and sign mtg agreement for 3 months and to pay him another 1000. to try for the HARP program and e did which of course we didn't get ..I did ask for all receipts from company and was told he will request them (and we never received them) I did get receipts from my bank showing withdrawals by them! we finally tried to sell house but couldn't due to attorney fees that piled up after 8 months of non payment on mortgage, spoke to [redacted] again to find out he wanted another 750 for his attorney to write a letter in exchange for deed with bank since we are now in foreclosure. We did ask about any refund and we were told by [redacted] that their office considered the 30. a modification.. so then why did we pay the additional 1000. my complaint is they always say there is another charge for things I feel have been taken care of in the 4000. we paid them for a 30. decrease which is never going to help anyoneDesired Settlement: some kind of refund

Review: After a couple of years of trying to accomplish a home modification with suntrust mortgage and being unsuccessful I hired sky consultants inc. to do the modification for me. I paid them $2,500 over a year had passed when finally suntrust communicated with sky consultants for me to settle liens on my home I paid sky consultants an additional $1,000 to settle credit cards so I could finally get this modification. while I was in the settlement process suntrust mortgage foreclosed on my home. I have lived in this home since 1981 I bought the house from my parents and now I face eviction. I spoke with attorneys and they all say the same thing that sky consultants was deffinitley negligent but there is nothing they can do to help me keep my home. sky consultants dropped the ball on this modification and I am the one that now has to move a family of five out of the home I grew up in.Desired Settlement: not only do I feel sky consultants should have to refund my money but I also feel they should have to pay some sort of restitution for now I have to get another place to live and no mortgage company will touch me now.

Response:
