The customer's system (including online data monitoring) was installed and working from May - July 2014. Someone turned the system and data monitoring off in July. Once the data monitor is turned off, our company has no visibility into...

the status of the system. The customer never noticed the system was off until PG&E sent him a bill for electricity from July - April totaling $2800. The customer was happy with the installation (he would agree) but now says he never read the instructions sent to him by email, the information sent by PG&E (monthly), or the contract. He also did not notice the RED LIGHT on the inverter or data monitor. He never attempted to log-in to the data monitoring portal, in spite of his own acknowledgement of it's importance. While it is unfortunate that he is faced with a $2800 PG&E bill, we cannot accept responsibility for customers who do not pay even the slightest attention to their system. Given that he is a Price Waterhouse Coopers consultant and former software executive, I assume he has the intellectual capacity to understand this and therefore is (justifiably) frustrated and venting online, through the Revdex.com, and the CSLB will give him some form of relief.
