Me and two friends went to Kona for dinner on July 23rd, 2016 about 645-7pm. We had sat and ordered food. I ordered coconut shrimp roll first, at one bite, didn't not like it so I sent it back. [redacted], who was our server, glady took it back and brought me the Lobster Mac and Cheese. It was ta[redacted]...

quite a while so I asked for it to come out in a box and then my friend asked for the check. When I got my food, the box felt really light to have pasta in it so I opened it and it was like a corner of food. I asked to speak with a manager because I didn't want to pay $17 for a corner of pasta. The manager came over and I explained to him I didn't want the food because I didn't feel like it was enough for the amount of money it was. The manager, who we didn't know was the GM at the time, started to get really aggressive and started to curse at us and tell us to leave. He said "you know what, you don't have to pay for anything, get out". As we were leaving, he was following us and cursing at us, he said to me "that's all y'all [redacted] wanted was some [redacted] free food". I said we were about to pay for the ticket, and he then asked me did I want the card still, as I was wal[redacted] out the door. I said yes, and came back in to get the card he was handing to me and he reaches over from behind me and tried to snatch the food away from me. As he pulled the food away from me, the food went into the air and landed on the both of us, in the midst of him pulling my arms up he hit me in the head. I have several people who saw what happened, from the conversation to the altercation. I called the police to make a report and then told me that I "was going about it the right way except for when I came back in." I said he was reaching out to give me the card and I took it from him, as I turned to walk out he reached in and tried to snatch the food from me, in the midst pulling my arms over our heads and his arm hit me in the head. WORST GM I have ever encountered and I've worked in the hospitality world since 2009.
