Once the job started it took about days for the sidewalk and driveway to be broken up and removedThe next step was for the concrete to be put downI put the order in for a pre-mix concrete truck; two truck deliveries’ were madeThe first truck was used for the sidewalkThe second concrete truck which was late to the site was used for the drivewayOnce the job was completed, *** *** called me three days later to inform me that she was not happyShe showed me three areas she was not happy withShe said she wants the job done very neatI returned the next day and fixed what needed to be fixed
In May of *** *** called me and asked me to come over to look at some areas of the driveway which looked like sand had washed away from the concreteI explained to her that the reason it looks like this is because of the salt that she used during the winterShe replied back and said I don’t think so
I contacted the concrete company; they explained to me that the concrete delivered was the right psi concreteI have used this same concrete company three times before and have never had a problem with themIt was later agreed up that we go half on the material to fix the arears that she was not happy withWhen I was ready to fix the driveway, she told me why I should pay more moneyI said to her if I have to fix it by myself that she would have to give me time to get money for the material because right now business is slowShe called me every week and I answered every called and said I did not have the funds as yet.
On August **, I came with three gentlemen to fix the drivewayInstead of fixing the areas she was not pleased with I went over the entire area, which is the sidewalk and drivewayWhen we were almost finish with driveway it started to rainThe rain fell of and on for days which did not allow me to continue the jobAround August **, she called me to tell me that I should come and take the rest of the materials from the backyardSome friends would be coming from out of town and she was going to use the back yardWhen I came to remove the material and stated there is only about two hours left of work to be done, I will come back to finishShe started to curse, yell and become very disrespectful towards meI told her I will not return backThe second Sunday of September I went to her house and said for her to get someone to finish the job and let me know the cost, this was in September and last time we spoke

Review: Hired contractor [redacted] (###-###-####) in 10/**/2012 for placement cement sidewalk and driveway and it is not done properly. Inform [redacted] immediately that the job was slopply done and that driveway accumulates significant amounts of water after rain. [redacted] told me that he did not see anything wrong; however, he came and patch up areas of the sidewalk and driveway. I called him after that was done and I told him that the cement job was still not properly done and that the driveway is still accumulating significant amounts of water after it rain and that the cement is shedding. [redacted] never returned to review the job after numerous calls until I told him that that the city is writing me. He finally came to my house on 5/**/14 after numerous calls and decided he was going to try to fix it. He should up 3 months later after numerous calls again and tried to patch the cement and did an even more horrible job this time. The driveway is accumulation even more water than before, still a very messy, shoddy and unattractive job and he has now messed up my other cement in the very back portion of my backyard by mixing cement and leaving it for greater than one week in my backyard without cleaning it up. The price of $6,500 was given to [redacted], it was later dropped down to $4,800. We negotiated on this price based on her explaining to me that she is a single mother and this was her first home.

Once the job started it took about 4 days for the sidewalk and driveway to be broken up and removed. The next step was for the concrete to be put down. I put the order in for a pre-mix concrete truck; two truck deliveries’ were made. The first truck was used for the sidewalk. The second concrete truck which was late to the site was used for the driveway. Once the job was completed, [redacted] called me three days later to inform me that she was not happy.
