SKYLIMIT MOVERS DC

Review: I paid for moving services on June 18, 2013. The movers wanted left without my signoff and acknowledgement that the move was satisfactory. If there is any damage to my furniture I will fill out another complaint. Further, the movers rushed out and left 15 minutes early. I do not have a receipt for the services provided, the total amount was 628.50. Without the receipt it is not clear if the total includes the $25 deposit.

Secondary Complaint.

I requested a full house move as well as discarding of furniture and a t.v. Two movers instead of three arrived with no boxes and barely any packing material. Within the first 2 hours I was told repeatedly that the boxes were coming, at noon the movers suggested taking the furniture that they uploaded to the location. I inquired again about the boxes. When the movers emptied their truck they told me to get my own boxes and projected $300 additional dollars if they were to complete their job. Subsequently they left without my consent. I should be reimbursed $150 for the inconvenience.Desired Settlement: I want a copy of the receipt emailed and reserve the right to receive additional money for damages to my property as I did not sign the release.

Review: They were 6 hours late.I had to show them glass shelves and glass front in a cabinet after they were picking it up to move. Foreman demanded tip by writting amount on a piece of paper and pointing to it with a pen and saying "You Agree on this tip?"Scraped and dented walls moving things. Broke a lightbulb in the ceiling of a storage space and just kicked the glass under the furniture.

The most horrible part is that when I called to complain I explained that it made me very uncomfortable when the Foreman demanded a tip, the Manager (later said he was the owner) accused me of exaggerating. The entire experience with this company was terrible.Desired Settlement: I should be refunded a portion of the payment
