Review: On March 23, 14 my family had reservations at the Skyline Hotel. They messed up the reservation and didn't have the correct room for our family. The person on staff that day said that we could cancel and stay elsewhere and they would fully refund our $260.88. He indicated that he had processed the credit. When we got our next credit card statement, they had not refunded our money. I then made a phone call and was told after several calls that they had refunded our money. That has not yet happened! I made another call today to the same number and apparently the hotel was sold to Mount Olympus Resorts. When speaking to them, they claim that they can not help me in this matter??Desired Settlement: Being I have already paid my credit card bill, I am asking for them to send me a check for the full refund of $260.88. I would also like interest on that money and compensation for the time I've had to deal with this issue that they caused. Therefore, I am requesting an additional $50, so the total check refunded to me should be $310.88.

Review: I arrived and checked into this hotel on July 5, 2013 and was due to depart on July 8, 2013. On July 7, 2013 I checked my account and found that I was charged $200. I called the front desk to inquire about this charge and was informed that someone said that there was smoking going on in the room and the charge was made at 11:00 am. I departed the room that morning at approximately 9:00am and did not return till 6:30 pm. I have receipts showing that at 9:30 I was in a restaurant and other receipts with time stamps through out the day. I was told by the front desk supervisor that the person I needed to speak to was [redacted] and she was not in and that I will need to come back tomorrow. I asked the young man if he could reach [redacted] by phone so that I can speak to her about this matter and he informed me that [redacted] was tired and did not want to talk this evening and that there was no one else for me to speak to. I asked this young man why wasn't I informed of this allegation and that I did not authorize anyone to access or charge my account. The desk Supervisor stated that they were not sure if I would return to the room. I then explained that my work computer my personal computer as well as my clothes were still in the room so that would be an indication that I was going to return to the room. I also was wondering why wasn't a note left for me to contact the front desk about this matter. I only learned of this allegation because I checked my bank out and seen the charge on my account. I was never made aware of this allegation by any member of this hotel staff. Upon checking out of this hotel I spoke with [redacted] and she informed me that the cleaning staff smelled smoke in the room and that is why I was charged and I asked her is it policy to just make an allegation with making the customer aware of the allegation and then charging there card that is on file and she stated yes because upon check in the consumer initials that they read the agreement to this. I informed [redacted] that I never initialed anything and asked for her copy of the receipt to prove that I initialed this. [redacted] looked through a stack of papers, pulled out a sheet went into the back and came out with a copy not the original and handed it to me. I clearly did not initial this paper and I believe [redacted] did and that is forgery and I will be contacting the Wisconsin states attorney about this matter as well. I don't know how many other people they have pulled this scam on in the pass this practice needs to stop. I did not smoke in this room nor my guest. I am not nor have I ever been a smoker. An allegation was made against me that I was not aware of and my account accessed without my permission. The room that this company advertised that I paid for was not the room I stayed in. The advertised room stated that the room was renovated and had a working fireplace. The fireplace did not work, I have video to prove this. Several outlets in the room did not work and again I have video to prove this. There was a hole in the door from the outside of the room. I have a picture of this and well as the bathroom that have several holes and plaster on it and I will be posting these pictures and video to trip advisor and other social media outlets.

Review: We booked a hotel room on 8/29/13 through Expedia.com for this hotel, we recieved confirmation of this through email. We arrived at the hotel to check in on 8/30/13 and the hotel said they didn't have our reservation. They said they told expeida, though expedia says the hotel never contacted them. The hotel then offered us a room above the rate we book through online. They would not honor our online booking rate.Desired Settlement: An apology and offer from hotel since we were bated and switched. If they are going to be on Expeida.com list of hotels, they need to fulfil the price they offer and people book at online.

complaint. So I am not satisfied with the companies efforts, as there

have been no efforts

by them.
