Review: On Tuesday April 21st I was on vacation in del mar and was supposed to take a hot air balloon ride due to clouds and wind the company had to cancel so they said they would refund the $350 I paid and that it would be refunded in 5 days. As on today May 1st 10 days later the company has failed to refund my money. I have called the last five days at least 3 times a day and either no one answers or the women who does answer says there is no manager owner or financial person in office I can talk to and they will call me back. I have never received a call back. Today when I called I told her I was going to contact my bank and she just hung up the phone. There were other people in my group that have not been refunded there $350 as well.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my $350.

Review: We scheduled hot air balloon ride but the company used excuses due to weather even though the weather was perfectly fine. When we asked for a refund, they said they will look into it. It has been over a month and we never got a refund. Now when we call they say they do not issue refunds. It is a scam company that does not have any balloon rides. It only charged people's money.

They are fraud and should be prosecuted.Desired Settlement: This company should not be in business.

Review: I was initially very pleased with the customer service I received when placing the original reservation. Although I gave my debit card information over the phone, I was told that the money would not be deducted from my account until we signed the release at the launch site on the day of the reservation. When that day came (5-2-15), we called at 12pm to check weather conditions as we had been instructed to do and were asked to call back at 1. When we called back, we were informed that the weather conditions were going to be too unpredictable, so the flight for that day was cancelled. I figured this was no big deal because to my knowledge, I hadn't been charged yet. The following week, while reviewing my bank statement, I noticed that the $350 charge had been deducted more than 2 weeks prior to the reservation.

I still wasn't overly alarmed, as we planned to reschedule the flight. I then called to see what dates were available, and was impatiently told that I would receive a call back. After waiting a week for a return call, I decided to call again. After briefly explaining my situation, the woman on the phone tried to tell me she would call right back which is when I proceeded to tell her that I had already been told that twice with no response. She then abruptly hung up on me. This exact pattern has now repeated itself 3 times. Yes, I have been hung up on three times when attempting to reschedule this flight that was cancelled by them and fraudulently charged to me.As of this morning, I was still willing to reschedule but after researching others' similar claims and dissatisfaction and being blatantly disrespected over the phone, I no longer want to give this shady company my business.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $350 credited to my account.

It was my first time to call, she was friendly and helpful. I offender my debit card information to made a reservation on 9-27-2014. I found this business on [redacted], and I been to their website. It looks like they are family owned business for over 20 years, but I should read all the [redacted] review before I made the reservation. I told the lady that I need a trip for celebrating my brother's birthday, and she said they can put the Birthday Banner for us for free. She explained how to get into there in detail, so it made me feel comfortable and believe they were nice people with good business. I was so impressive at that time.

9-23-2014 3:46pm Received Email

I received as an email as confirmation from '[email protected]', and sender was called 'von Zweck Conni' and title as 'SKYSURFER FLIGHT CONFIRMATION FOR SATURDAY, 9/27/14'. The email including the direction, sign paper to release liability, cancellation term and contact information. So I was so exciting to the trip.

9-27-2014 4pm

We been to the place and meet the group. We were asked to sign a paper for releasing the liability and sign the receipt for charging my debit card by their employees. Then, the employees said there was another 20minutes waiting time, since they need to check the weather for safety concern.

We we're be told the trip have to be cancelled due to the safety concern. They said it was windy. In our opinion, the weather looked so pretty. But they are the professional, we followed the decision. We were be told by the employees, we can either reschedule another trip or ask for the refund.

First time to call for refund, since I thought the company will refund me automatically. I hadn't seen the refund in my bank statement, so I knew it is time to follow up. She answered the call and told me that she was driving. So she asked me to call back in two hours.

She answered the call and told me that I should called for the refund. They need to know my decision for either reschedule the reservation or refund to my debit card. I said I would like to get the refund, so she comforted the information with me, and she confirmed the reservation record and debit card information with me. It's 'Qing' and 'Ryder'. She said she will process the refund for me. I was appreciate at that time.

I had already waited for the refund for a month and I hadn't seen the refund in my bank statement. So I call this number again, the lady asked my reservation date, first and last name. And she asked "Okay. With Ryder(my brother'name), right?" And I answered yes, so it means she have all the record. She told me that the refund should be processed, but she will follow up for me. I still felt impressive for their service at that time.

She said "Are you that people call this number in crazy?", and she said I call the wrong number. No one is called Conni.

A lady told me that I called the wrong number. She was aware and asked why did I call the number. I told her that I had already asked for the refund for a longtime, but I haven't received it yet. She said, "I don't know what are you talking about dear." She spoke that in polite for every single words. So she dropped my call.

I did not recognize something goes wrong at that time. So I been to [redacted], and I saw lots of customers are in as actually same situation as me. The business are making fraud.

So I was very sad at that time. I knew that lady she was Conni. So I called her again in the next hours for five times. Finally, she answered my call and did not say anything. I told her I just called for the refund, that hundreds dollars means a lot to me. Conni did not say anything, and she dropped my call after that.

I didn't tell anyone what happened so far, including my brother, since I still think Conni is running ethical business. Finally, I shared this bad experience to one of my friend can be trusted and he told me that I should been to the bank and cancel that transaction ASAP. I did not have related knowledge before, so I been to the bank finally. I was been told by the bank that there were 90 days to cancel that transaction, so it's too late. They told me that the only thing I can do is reporting to Revdex.com.

Conni has our recode and she just want to reject to refund me. I just saw there was another complaint to this business as actually same case as me . I am so sad to this business.Desired Settlement: Refund back to my debit card. I can offer the necessary information if they need those to confirm my identification.

Review: I booked a balloon ride a few days prior to when we would fly. [redacted], the "owner" of the "business" said we would receive our confirmation email with all the details we needed. The email never came. We were on our way to the flight when she calls and tells us the flight is cancelled due to wind and we asked if we'd receive a refund and she said yes. I returned from my vacation and have called multiple times each week and got the run around with tons of excuses and that accounting would call me back. She finally screamed at me on the phone and hung up and told me to call my bank to deal with the issue.Desired Settlement: The business goes under review and a refund is issued so nothing like this happens again to someone who tries to enjoy their vacation.

Review: My family and I wanted to use their service so we called their 1-800 number while being in Napa Valley. Inmediately we asked for directions and so we found out their location is in San Diego. In that same moment we told them to CANCEL the charge in my credit card because it was impossible for us to arrive because of the distance, but they did the charge to my Credit card still. Even worse we said we were 3 people but she charged for 6 people. And yet my bank hasn't received the cancellation and its been more than 2 weeks already.I was misstreated by the only women that answers the phone, [redacted], yelled at by her, and given the worst excuses without any effort in order to help me, and I was a costumer, a foreigner, a tourist, in USA. At first she said that the lady that did the charge was the only one able to reverse it and that I had to wait for her to get back, and that they'll call me. That never happened. I even went to their address and its a residencial home, and no one answers the door. I didn't use their service and cancelled it right away. On the same minute of the phone call. And since my credit card was cancelled because of my claim I had to stay in USA for another week without it.Desired Settlement: My bank told me they could send and email saying they reverse the charge. I just want for them to return the money they dont have a reason to collect since I never use their service and cancell right away.

Review: On May 10, 2014 I was scheduled for a hot air balloon flight with SkySurfer. Total cost including gratuity was $403.00. This flight was cancelled and I was promised a full refund.

It's now been over a month and I'm still waiting. I've made several phone calls including emails and regular mail to the Manager - [redacted]. She continues to tell me she will handle it but never does. She tells me the company doesn't have money to do my refund, which in fact they do... They have my $403.00.

I'm really frustrated with their service; now each time I try to reach them, [redacted] is rude and very unprofessional to me as if I'm at fault for asking her to refund my money. I only chose this company because I heard great reviews. I find it unfair they should hold my money for services that weren't ever render.

Review: I was in San Diego for vacation and scheduled a hot air balloon ride with Skysurfer. The flight was cancelled two hours before we were going to take off because it was too windy. When the employee called and asked if I would like to reschedule I said no because I was leaving the next day to go home. I said I would like a refund of $175 (cost of balloon flight). This was on April 16th. As of today (May 6th) I have still not been refunded. I have called five times over the past week and a half. Every time the woman is extremely rude and short with me and tells me that accounting will call me back. I finally got a hold of her again today and she told me that accounting must have made a mistake with my refund (my friend who I was supposed to go hot air ballooning with has yet to be refunded as well) and I told her this was unlikely. I told her that Skysurfer needs to refund me - she told me to "dispute the charges with my bank" I told her that was extremely unethical. She started to yell at me and then hung up on me. I went to write a review on [redacted] and have seen many similar stories of people not being refunded their money.Desired Settlement: I would like to be paid back $175 from Skysurfer San Diego.
