Slaby Electric

Customer called Monday January 5, 2015, said his boiler was not working but has wood heat for back up. We arrived January 6, at the customers home. Boiler was not working, circuit board was shorted out. Paper work for warranty part was completed and faxed
out on January 7, 2015. Part shipped out of *** *** **. Part was received on January 14, and installed the same day. Boiler controller was not sending signal to unit. Paper work for warranty part was completed and faxed out on January 15, 2015. Again part was shipped out of *** *** **. Part was installed as soon as it arrived on January 22, 2015. Boiler still not working, called Tech person from boiler company, (1) wire was not connected, This wire was not disconnected by Slaby Electric LLC, it appeared some one was tampering with the wiring on this unit January 26, we returned, reconnected wire and boiler fired up immediately. At this time customer informed us he ordered a new boiler from another vendor Customer never notified Slaby Electric LLC that he was considering purchasing a new boiler. We do not needlessly run labor bills up for customers. If the customer is willing to come into our Office we will gladly negotiate this labor bill with him

This past January my boiler failed to heat my house. On a Friday I called Slaby's Electric LLC that my boiler failed and I told them that the power bored is shorted out and also the boiler is leaking water. They came out to the residence at the beginging of the next work week to get the make, model, and serial number. That they already have on file since Slaby's Electric LLC installed the boiler in 2010. So then they confirmed that the board is shorted out and leaking water. So they ordered a new board it took a week and a half to come in. So they came in and installed the board. When they installed the board the boiler didn't fire up. So they looked at the boiler for a few hours and they came up with the thermostat for the boiler is bad. They ordered the new thermostat which took a week to come in. Just to remind you this is the middle of January in Wisconsin where the temperature is -20 without wind chill factor. So when the new thermostat came in they installed it still didn't work. So by now I had to hire a new company they came in and did an inspection on the boiler and they came up with the heat exchanger is plugged and the wires are so corroded that they recomended to install a new boiler and that is what I did. So a day later Slaby's electric LLC comes back which they did not notify me that they were coming and they walked right into my basement and started to work on the old boiler which I was already replacing. By the time I realized some one was in my house and got to the basement they managed to get the old boiler to fire but was leaking water in 5+ places in the boiler. I told them to stop working on it since I have a new boiler ordered. So then they sent me a bill for $440 and Slaby's Electric LLC is claiming the old boiler was fully functioning when they left the last time they were at my house. I have now have a statement from the company that installed my new boiler that the old boiler could not have been fully functional when Slaby's Electric LLC left since the heat exchanger and other components where pluged and corroded.
