Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I did not put anythinh on layawayi looked at some furniture in the store a few says prior to this incident...I explained to the associate that my boyfriend would come later in the evening to look at it and decide if he liked it as wellwhen my boyfriend arrived at the store later that evening they sold itbut my boyfriend liked a different set and told me to go look at itwhen I went into the store days later, I saw the original set of furniture that they told my boyfriend they had soldi inquired about it and they explained to me that they had another one in the backsince my boyfriend did not get to see if he liked it or not I asked the associate if I could put a deposit on it to prevent it from being sold again until that evening shen my boyfriend could come look at itno layaway plan or payment plan was discussednor was I informed that deposits were nonrefundableif I tell the salesman that I want my boyfriend to decide if he likes it or not I would think that implies that im not sure if we want to buy itwhen I went back to get my deposit back is when I was treated like garbage and talked to like I was stupidthe store manager refused to give me the contact information for someone above himhe is forcing me to deal with him directlyi fully understand that there are no refunds on sales...but my receipt says its a deposit and nowhere on the receipt or in the store does it say no refunds on depositswhen the manager told me there are no refunds on sales I explained to him that I didnt buy anythinghe said I did in fact purchase the furniturewhen I asked him if I could take it home, his response was....no, you havent paid for it yetso I am a little confused...did I buy it or didnt i?? and like I said, at no point in time was layaway discussedi dont even know their layaway policyfor them to say I placed the furniture on layaway is simply a lie Regards, [redacted]

This merchandise was put in layaway on 9/23/and a deposit of $was put on itIf the customer changes there mind we tell them they can use their deposit on anything in the storeBut it is store policy no refunds and is stated on invoice, it also has "NO REFUNDS ON LAYAWAYS" We are sorry for
any misunderstanding but we have to follow store policy
