To whom it may concern at Revdex.com:I have called to speak in person to *** *** on 3/10/2016, which was as soon as I noticed this complaintI mentioned all the facts stated below and he said he will think over what I said over the weekendI believe he will cancel this complaintHowever, so
that we are not late in responding in writing to Revdex.com I am forwarding this letter to youPlease feel free to call me at *** should this be in different formatThank you, ***Dear *** ***,Every heating company charges for their services for each visitAlthough our technicians were at your location three times per your phone calls, we still sent you a bill for only one hour of workReplacing batteries, changing filter, helping you print out the thermostat operation booklet from internet and making sure you had heat at that moment before our technicians leave all requires time, for which we only charged you a bare minimumOur technician came to you on New Year’s Eve and again on New Year's Day to assist with your concernsPer our technician the gas valve either works at a moment in time or does notWhen he was at your physical location the gas valve was working and he made sure you had heat before he leftWe would have been at your location again without charging you if you gave us a chance to figure out why you had no heat againWe understand the frustration that you went through due to the cold weather and numerous issues with the thermostat and the heating unitHowever, Slattery and Coaddressed those concerns and made sure you had heatWe were not notified that you still had an issue and hence were not able to address thatAgain, we charged you a bare minimum for one call and treated every other incident as a warranty on the initial callNot notifying us of the problem should not release you of the bill that we sent you.Best regards,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:I do not feel that their response is factually correct, and contains events that never happened or are taken out of context to seem more significant than they might actually beI understand that my furnace may have initially had heat, but if any technician had bothered to check the whole furnace, as the second company did, or not been in such a rush to leave, then perhaps Slattery could have corrected the problemI was considering a possible compromise, as *** *** did offer a small discount, but I'm not sure about that given that her statement letter reflects that she ignores my responses in our telephone conversation, and can't acknowledge that I did try to get further help by calling back, but got no responseShe stated the technician would have been happy to come back, but phone messages were ignored and initially I was charged for both visits, even though nothing was repaired, and I still never had heat
