Zero turn
Customer service terrible

Horrible business
Don't waste your time. Got my part in for my pressure washer. Put it on within minutes of getting it. New part defective out the box. I can bypass the part and make the machine work. So part it 100% defective. Called SLE to be told they would not return, refund or exchange, but they could sell me another new part. Yeah ok, you screwed me once, not going for a 2nd time.

Stay away from these guys!
Stay away from these people. I wanted a Husqvarna MZ61. Saw one I liked on their website. I called in the middle of a weekday to ask if it was still available. No answer at sales dept, no answer at customer service. So I left messages. No calls back from either. So I did an online inquiry (you know, "contact us"...). No response for days. So I ORDERED an MZ61 from SLE online...when it came to payment screen I had choice of credit card or financing. I chose financing. I actually got an order number and it said "Congratulations on your purchase. You will be receiving a confirmation email shortly". Three days later NOTHING. No email, no phone call...crickets.

FOUR days later someone calls me, "Were you trying to buy an MZ61?"...ummmm, yes, but you aren't making it very easy. "Well you have to click the 'Finance' button on our website". Well it didn't say that. I printed the confirmation page and it says I will get a confirmation email and someone will contact me. "Well that's not the way it works". Soooo...I went elsewhere and bought a John Deere Z540M zero turn. Great buying experience at Ag Pro. These SLE people are boneheads. By the way, I got a canned marketing email yesterday, TEN DAYS LATER, from a "Jerret W" at SLE. He was responding to my very clear question asking if "MZ61 was still available?". He didn't answer the question. Clearly didn't even read or see my original inquiry. Just sent me a canned marketing response. I responded "Hey Jerret, you are a little late to the party brother, I spent $6,000 on a new John Deere four days ago". Unbelievable that I literally clicked a button and spent $5,000 on their website and nothing happened after that. Sad for them really. I was imagining what the experience would have been if I did actually buy it and needed help or repairs later. No thanks...

Horrible customer service, and appalling responsibility
This company is an absolute horrible place to do business. On 23 November I ordered a part from their website for a customer and was charged. The item was not in stock, was not listed as a special order part, and did not notify me of this. Every other company I deal with will, 1. notify you if the item is special order, 2. inform you it is not in stock, and 3. not normally allow you to add something that is NOT in stock to your cart for order.

After over a week of no information or communication, I sent an email asking about an update on the status and as to why I did not receive the item I purchased. I received the following on 30 November

"Currently, your order is placed with the manufacturer. It should ship from them within the next 3 business days or so. Once we receive it from them, it typically takes about 2 days for you to receive your tracking number. If you have any questions please let us know."

I responded explaining to cancel the order as I was able to receive it from someone else in a shorter amount of time and with more professionalism.

On 7 December the following was received: "Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel this order because it has arrived here today and is scheduled to ship tomorrow. If you still want to cancel, there will be a 20% restocking fee deducted from the refund. If we do not hear a response from you, we will continue with the shipment as scheduled. We're sorry for any inconvenience.
"

I was patient, even though I was receiving calls from my customer that needed this part for his home stand-by generator in Florida.

Today I contacted them asking, once again, where the part was and received this:

Hello sir,

"Thank you for your patience, I want just to let you know that if you reject the package, we are going to take the 20% restocking fee that our policy states, and also the shipping costs for the return will be charged before making the refund to your account. The item, as I explained in another email before, arrived yesterday to our store, the shipping company had delays with the deliver, please allow us 2-3 business days until you receive the package. "

This was 10 DAYS past the date they said it was to have already been shipped.

This is COMPLETELY UNACCECPTABLE, and horrible business practice.

The folks at the ANTIOCH store did not keep me informed about the status of my Swisher zero turn order After I ordered I had to call back a couple of days later and ask about getting a receipt and invoiceWhen the 7-days for delivery passed, I called to inquire about my orderI was told it was being built to order and would likely be another weekI called after another ten days - this time I was told the mower I ordered will not be available until first part of I cancelled the order and asked for a refundAfter weeks I called about the refund and was told it was not processedI then got three separate calls from Taylor, Darvin and the operations manager They each asked me the same questions about why I cancelled, do I want the mower with a different engine than what I ordered....at this point I was told my refund has been processed but have not received- I ordered the mower August and it is now October

I bought my first concession trailer from SLE equipment a year agoFrom the beginning of the process of drawing up the trailer until the day I picked it up, SLE equipment performed exquisitelyThe concession trailer rep was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire orderI am now looking into purchasing my second trailer and I wanted to thank SLE for the outstanding customer service and great prices on their trailersI look forward to doing business with them soon and have recommended them to all of my counterparts

We drove miles after looking online for several weeks for a trailer to meet the needs of our small lawn business We found that SLE had a package deal that included several items we needed and called a few times to discuss the options The customer service was top notch, and *** went above and beyond to accommodate our needs They are very hospitable and offered us coffee while we waited for the paperwork Their prices are very reasonable and competitive We would highly recommend them for any equipment needs, even if you have to drive a distance to get to them Thank you ***, ***, *** and staff of SLE for a great experience

Customer Service is non-existent They charged my CC at time of order for equipment on back-order rather than waiting until it shipped THEN kept pushing back the expected availability date until it was more than a month later that what they had promised at the time of ordering Through-out this process all my e-mails were totally ignored and I never got a response until I was so fthat I finally cancelled my order, filed a non-delivery complaint with my CC, and threated to file a Revdex.com complaint and bad reviews with internet review sites THEN their response was a lame apology and an attempt to bribe me not to file complaints Apparently their customer communication problem is endemic with them, as their Revdex.com listing is full of similar complaints Don't order on-line from this company! If you cannot walk in their door, don't bother!

I was told by the Jr owner *** that they had a mower With hours for $that it will run & cut my yard fine, that he wanted to save on usual maintainenceToOK it home and it did fine for about minutes then the blades cut on and off randomlyFound out the clutch was bad Called them immediately and no response, no returned calls, left for mesgs and an email, still no response until one week later All they offered was a part for $+ tax not real happy

I buy a new zero turn from *** and his crew every year and I have to say these guys go out of there way to give me the best price and make sure I feel like I am the most important customer to ever walk thru there doors
There prices are great and everyone in SLE is quite professional
Try and find better prices in the south

I called SLE Equipment to inquire about one of the dump trailers listed on their website Because I live miles away I was told to be sure and call before making the trip if I decided to purchase to make sure the desired trailer was in stock On the morning of 10-27-I called and asked if a specific trailer was in stock and was told it was I immediately left and drove straight to SLE Upon arrival I was informed that the trailer was not in stock, but could ordered It would arrive in weeks I asked if they would deliver it to my house without charge The owner seemed agitated that I would even ask stating they only deliver within miles without charge I asked why their driver's time was more valuable than mine and he responded that he would deliver it for $ He kept telling me how busy they were and that they shipped equipment all over the states I received the message that my business was of little importance in the vast volume of business they run He did offer me a different, more expensive, damaged trailer at supposedly a good bargain I accepted that offer only because I did not want to make another trip I left with a product different than I wanted and paid more than I was planning for a trailer I really believe I was a brother to the owner rather than a valued customer On the way home one of the ramps fell off onto the road because a securing pin was missing It did hit a vehicle, but fortunately no one was injured and I had cash to cover the damage It was a bad experience all around

I found a mower online at SLEequipment and it was quite a bit less than I could find anywhere else so I ordered it the tractor arrived damaged by the freight company I called SLE and they told me I had two choices I could refuse it and they would send me another right away or I could accept I and they would send me the parts to fix the problem so I chose to keep it. It was about two days got the parts Installed the parts worked great and SLE had included my first maintenance kit just for my trouble. I think this is a great company problems happen and it is how the company fixes the problem that shows how good of a company they are I would refer my family and friends to SLEequipment

I purchased a 2016 Husqvarna [redacted] Garden Tractor online and paid for it by credit card. I spoke with Darvin, a sales representative, by telephone to choose and pay for the Garden Tractor. Darvin was personable and answered every question I asked of him. He provided exceptional customer service and made me feel like he wanted my business. He called me on Friday, September 30, 2016 to let me know the Garden Tractor was washed and ready to be picked up the following morning. I picked up the Garden Tractor on Saturday, October 1, 2016 after traveling 250 +/- miles one way to accept delivery. There were some minor issues with proper set up of the Garden Tractor, but these issues were promptly resolved to my satisfaction. I was able to return home on the same day and used the Garden Tractor to mow my front and back yards the following day. The Garden Tractor performed flawlessly. I am very, very pleased with the product and the customer service I was provided. Thank you Darvin and SLE Equipment
