I am rejecting this response because:We were told that the furniture was never ordered and they wouldn't place the order on last Monday when I told them I want nothing else to do with them they then told me I could have my full refund verbally and via text message however, when I came to the store they closed before business hoursSo I came the very next day upsetNever once did they mention a restocking fee because they never placed the orderShe told me verbally and via text my refund amount and I would like exactly that minus the dollars for the door which was slammed in our faceAfter doing my research they have nothing but poor reviews and some even in the same situation as I am paying on furniture which they never orderedThis was unjust and the absolute worst experience everThey lie manipulate low income families out of they're money to make a profit it's wrong.

We have received the complaint brought to the Revdex.com regarding our businessAs you stated in your letter, there are in fact two sides to every storyThe customer *** ***, has told the truth to her convenienceI am responding to this complaint so that both sides to the story can be heard and
this matter can be settled once and for allThe customer came into the store on June 20, She and her boyfriend, fiance, husband, or whatever she wishes to call him, sat in our store for hours looking through catalogs and explaining to my sales associate that they were in the process of buying a new house and they wanted to have everything ready for the closing dateHer order came to a grand total of $3,My sales associate explained to her the different payment methods we accept: cash, credit card, and financeThe customer then proceeded to state that they would like to pay for everything in cashThe customer put down $to lothe price she had been givenShe then explained that though she did not have the whole amount with herShe would be in on Friday, June 24,to pay the balance in full.Friday, June 24, came and went and the customer did not come in as she plan and promisedNote that at our store or any furniture store, you must pay balance either in full or must at least pay 75% of the balance th have the merchandise orderedThe customer was called and she again promised she or her fiance would be in to pay off the balance in fullHer finance showed up to our store on Sunday, June 26, and made a payment of $toward the balanceDuring this period of her coming in and making partial payments she wanted to change the size of her bed and a $discount was given to her, changing her grand total from $3,to $3,The customer returned on Tuesday, July 26, with a payment of $to make toward the balance and once again she came in on August 10, with another payment of $Please be aware that our store associated advised her that if she could not pay the whole amount of her pocket we do the finance options available to ALL customers repeatedlyShe kept refusing to do the finance until Friday, August 12, when she called and asked to do the finance application over the phoneOn Friday, August 12, 2016, she was approved for $1,with a finance company and also put down $1,which was the balance left over after the payments she had made and the finance approval was deducted from her balance.The customer's finance came into our store on Sunday, September 18, with a very ruda attitudeHe caused a scene then proceeded to tell customers in the store to not buy here and that they should make their purchases elsewhereAgain, the frustration is very much understood, but the way he behaved that day was very rude and unprofessional.The refund was accepted on their part, but then the problem became them wanting the refund on their timeThe customer failed to understand that there is a policy and we must go by the policy when we are conducting any transactions, refunds includedOn Thursday, September 22, 2016, the customer and her fiance showed up to the store in a very angry, aggressive, violent matterThe fiance, broke our door leading into our warehouse by kicking it downWe called the police for disturbance to get a handle on the situationWith the help of the office, the customer finally understood that her merchandise had been ordered and paid for already and that because she wished to cancel there would be a 30% restocking fee charged to her and she would also be charged for the damage they caused to our door.I am glad to say that today, Friday, September 23, 2016, this customer was issued a refund and we consider this matter resolved.I do apologize for any inconvenience caused to the customerBut I do also wish that they had not behaved in this rude, aggressive manner.RegardsStephanie A***General ManagerSleep Center Closeouts

Review: My family s complaint is as follows- We purchased 5 mattresses for our new home. 4 twin and 1 full. Sold to us on sale as part of the grand opening sale. These "new" mattresses were in fact used and recovered and carrying bed bugs We have pictures and professional exterminator to back this up.I still have the actual mattresses. Although not in my home. We have thus far been treated by Sleep center closeouts as if we are the problem. We have asked for a full refund which was granted only to have the store actually charge us again! We have asked for SleepCenterCloseout to cover the cost of exterminating our house. They have agreed to that also. But are now changing their story. As of right now I still have no refund and still have a charge. Stephanie at the store claims she can not revile her employer's name or provide a phone number. Stephanie has also told me today that the lawyer said SleepCenterCloseouts isn't liable for our purchase. She also can not give me a name or contact for the lawyer. Stephanie claims this is a breech of her employee contract. We have been to the store today9/28/14 and they are still selling these mattresses!Desired Settlement: Would like my money returned now. Would like the company to honour their commitment to pay the exterminating fees. Would like the SleepCenterCloseout to STOP selling used, bug infested mattresses.
