I would like to formally state that Sleep Comfort is a scam company that apparently sets out to deceive their customers! They say and offer one thing with very clear guarantees on the phone tricking customers into making purchases telling them they are most definitely getting the exact products they are describing and seeking right down to the smallest details then when any questions arise they talk around them and request the customers make all discussions on the phone so there is no records of proof for later disputes! So later they are able to say it is their word against the customers which is terribly cruel and unfair and I very much encountered this experience! They told me they had a day return/refund policy and that I was getting the exact bed I described to the man neither of which was true!!! Not only this but my bed was defective and my only option was to get a repair and pay more money for an exchange of a mattress at first even though I didn't request this one at all and IF I wasn't happy after that then we'll tough so I fought that and they told me after that I had to pay them to return because they were willing to give in and return it even though they didn't normally do thisEven though the man that sold me the bed guaranteed me this right from the start without the fees and to top this off their very own website states they incur all shipping on defective products so they do nothing but lie to customers because they incur nothing for defective products the customers pay for that! And the customers suffer very much for that! And the people they sent out to get the bed for which they took my (which was a lot of my hard earned money by the way for absolutely nothing whatsoever...) came with a very old beat up van and not a professional truck so I in no way believe they actually hired someone to come get it!!! I believe they just wanted my money and someway somehow they were going to get some of it!!!I am a disabled human who can't get around very well and my sole reason for getting this bed was to get a comfortable place to rest and die in but they ruined this for me and for that I will never ever forgive them! I don't know exactly how much longer I have left on this planet and the least they could have done was to not make this any moe difficult on me than it already was but their cruelty went above and beyond and nobody deserves to go through what I went through! I honestly believe that if they treat me this way they will continue to do this to others and it is very wrong! They currently have my bed back and at this time have forced me to agree to take a check of a lesser amount of less than the price I spent originally which is outrageous considering I don't work and can't earn more money if I tried anymore so I am hurt and angered at their treatment and how it now prevents me from doing anything for myself in the future now! And the fact is they simply just don't care because it doesn't hurt them! I have a degenerative brain disease that will kill me very soon and all they had to do was honor their agreement but they couldn't do that much! They could only lie and steal from a poor defenseless dieting woman! Very sad indeed! If this is any measure of the type of character they are trying to represent with their business I don't see them succeeding very long! They told me they were going to send me out a check as of a week ago...As of this point I haven't received any money from themI can honestly tell you that I haven't had any reasons so far to trust them so I'm not going to hold my breath about this either! I do wish that they had done the right thing and simply just taken back the bed and given me my full money back! I would have found that more respectable! As of right now I can only say I am very disappointed in them! They did nothing but fight and attack me and I mean this literally! Anytime I would attempt to talk to anyone on the phone they would treat me as though I were not human on the same level as them! They would talk down to me and treat me like I were ignorant or belittle me to the point of tears! Telling me I had no right to call after not getting an email which I should have a right to do but they would say I was causing delays in their systemHow can a phone call telling them I didn't receive an email from them and I needed to know when they were coming to pick up the bed possibly delay things??? If I didn't call them to find this out they had to know I might be away from here and miss the pick up completely so this was uncalled for and cruel! I hope you can see and understand why this entire thing has been such a nightmare for me here! And just in case you need confirmation of this too I do have witnesses to each and every single one of their cruel phone calls where they were verbally cruel to me and even the ones that had me so upset I was crying and begging them to please stop treating me that way saying what they were doing was unfair and wrong! Rebuttal to Sleep-Comfort’s message from the Revdex.com: First paragraph: Conformation with delivery instructions were never received via email on the day of orderingA hard copy of order was never received via mail to our home address per my request on 11/One copy of the order was emailed per my request on December 21, 2015.We did receive notice from the shipping company changing shipping dates on two occasions before delivery on 3rd scheduled shipping date Third paragraph: We telephoned Company within days of delivery to exchange mattressHowever, we were told to expect a call backWe are awaiting written proof of our telephone call from our telephone provider which will show that we did telephone Sleep Comfort within the day period Fourth paragraph: Sleep Comfort currently and previously has and had an active Facebook page that clearly states a day money back guarantee along side the Revdex.com logoI believe this has been withdrawn, although we did print out proof that it was in effect when we wrote.They also said that if it had been within the days, the cost of the exchange would be $plus $deliveryMy wife called separately and was told that an exchange would be at no cost plus $shippingThis was also quoted to us when we first called to order the mattress.We are not demanding anything of Sleep-Comfort, only asking for what we were told to expect.We additionally, and most importantly, want the Revdex.com, which we and the general public respect and rely on, to know about Sleep-Comfort’s misleading advertising and general policies

Once again I take serious issue with the comments made by Mrs [redacted] in her recent letterSubsequent to our last communication to the Revdex.com, Mrs [redacted] agreed to be responsible for the return shipping feesShe asked that we pick up the bed and credit her credit card account less the agreed upon return shipping fee.On the day we picked up the bed from her home, she instructed us NOT to credit her credit card as agreedShe explained she no longer had the credit card and wanted a check insteadVisa/Mastercard regulations require that credits/returns not processed to the credit card be requested in writingWe explained this to Mrs [redacted] and sent her a form to sign whereby she agreed to a check refund to be processed in days in lieu of a credit to her credit card.Once we received her signature on the request for check refund, her refund was processed and mailed within day as statedShe has received her check which cleared our bank account on April 15, 2016.Regards, [redacted]

For a company that claims they have been trying to work with me on this were that really true they would have made this entire thing right from the start yet they were determined to either force me to keep a product I didn't order and was terribly unhappy with and deceived by their employee into getting, settle into getting a replacement that might have been worse than the first after already having been tricked and lied to or lastly paying them to take back something that I never agreed to get in the first place because I trusted their salesman and all of his lies when he told me I was getting the thing I actually wanted which clearly was never this defective bed! And for everything they claim they don't actually assist customers with defective products without causing them pain and suffering and a lot of money! I have read Mrs***’ recent letter and I disagree with most of what she is statingShe continues to misunderstand our stated policies and her letter contains too many factual errors to addressIn addition, her letter contains no new information and mostly re-states her complaints from prior communicationsAlthough we have previously responded and addressed her issues, she continues to refuse all assistance other than to demand what is outside the scope of any Sleep Comfort Policy.Although her bed is covered under warranty we have been unable to verify that there is an issue with the bed not operating properly because she will not allow us to send a service technician (at no charge)Even if she were correct that her bed was not operating properly, she is refusing to allow us to service the bedEven though she does not like the firmness/softness of the mattress she received, she is refusing to exchange her mattress under the terms of our day in-home mattress trialThis trial period exists to address the subjective nature of mattress firmnessFinally, Sleep Comfort, which does not have a return policy, allowed her to return the bed for a refundHowever, she refuses to return the bed at her expense.Sleep Comfort has made every effort to inspect the bed, service the bed, exchange the mattress and even pick up the bedMrs*** will not allow us to inspect or repair the bedShe refuses to pay a $fee to exchange her mattressAnd she will not pay the return shipping fee to return the bedTherefore at this point, there is nothing further we can do.Regards,*** ***

We have spoken with Mrs*** and apologized for the errorWhen she called our office she spoke with a new trainee in the customer service department who calculated the incorrect shipping feeShipping fees are based on the size of the box, the weight of the box and the destination zip codeAn

I checked on Mrs*** and her bed was shipped but not delivered by the delivery company. We were unaware of this and a full refund check was mailed to her

The reality is that bedding product cannot be re-sold as new for obvious reasonsThere are many state and federal regulations that determine the treatment of bedding products that are returnedIn almost all cases the company incurs a total loss with no ability to resell the cancelled productThat is why almost all bedding companies only allow cancellations up until the delivery into the customer’s homeIf Sleep Comfort did allow the cancellation and return of used bedding the initial purchase price would have to be much higher to reflect this additional costIn an effort to provide a lower price structure that benefits everyone, we have elected to go with industry standard so our prices can stay competitive.I have previously provided the written proof that we do state that we do not allow returns on adjustable bases on both our website and the delivery slip she signedIt is unfortunate but Mrs*** does admit in her letter that she misunderstood the Sleep Comfort return policyIn addition, as I pointed out in my previous letter she also misunderstood a similar non-return policy from one of our competitors.However, returning her bed was never her only optionWe do recognize that mattress firmness can be subjective and if Mrs*** wishes to exchange her mattress for something firmer/softer within her 90-day trial period we are more than happy to assist her.Sincerely,*** ***

Mr*** ordered a Sleep Comfort adjustable bed on September 28, The bed he purchased came with a Lifetime limited warranty and a 90-day in-home trial on the mattressA confirmation of his order with delivery instructions was sent to the email address he provided to us on the day of his
orderSubsequently, a hard copy of his order was mailed to his home address, per his request on November 17, And a third copy of his order was emailed again per his request on December 21, 2015.Regarding his warranty, his bed has always been and is still covered fully under the terms of his Lifetime warrantyAll the issues Mr*** mentions in his complaint are related to the 90-Day in-home trial on the mattressMr*** states in his complaint that he received his bed on November 16"This is the basis for his misunderstandingAttached is the proof of delivery signed by Mr***He accepted delivery of his bed without noting any exceptions on November 12, The P.O.Dwhich he signed clearly states that his “90-Day in-home trial begins upon delivery” and “The 90-Day in-home trial applies only to the mattresses.” The 90-Day in-home trial terms are also clearly stated on the company Website (attached)Therefore his 90-Day in-home trial period ended on February 12, 2016.Unfortunately, Mr*** first called our office to exchange his mattress on February Once we determined that his trial period had experied, although not required to do, as a courtesy our customer service department quoted Mr*** a much reduced price to purchase the mattress he was requestingHowever, he continues to claim he was within his 90-day trial period and refuses to pay any monies for the new mattress.Mr*** has also made reference to a Facebook page and a 90-day money back guaranteeThe company has not had an active Facebook page since Nonetheless, to take advantage of any 90-Day money back guarantee he is referring to would had to have been requested BEFORE the 90" day following deliveryMr*** did not do so and now is making demands that are outside the scope of our policies. Sleep Comfort feels that days is enough time to allow our customers to try the mattress and contact the company to swap the mattress for another firmnessMr*** simply called outside the time frame to take advantage of this policyWe continue to honor his warranty and work with him on a reduced price to purchase the mattress he desires. [I would like to start this out by stating once again that this bed that I received was not the bed that I ordered on the phone talking to the man on the phone and this would have been resolved faster had I been able to talk to someone sooner but the bed only had just arrived the previous night and was rushed to be setup then the guys left! I did try to call the company but they were closed and I tried to make the best of it overnight thinking maybe I could deal then the bed started moving while I was asleep with the remote on my nightstand and I was stuck like that numb for over two hours when I woke up! Having them act rude to me, make fun of how I talk because I have a speech disability and tell me everything I said versus what the sales guy said was their word against mine if I challenged them was all too much for me! I told them I didn't want to keep this bed in my house feeling like at any given point it could move and hurt me again and with the mere fact this bed folds so very in half it could snap a humAn spine it scares me to death I didn't want the thing in my house and they first only gave me the option to fix it then gave in and said I could return but only if I paid to which is horrible for something that injured me! I am not trying to profit of of their company I simply want to return their defective dangerous product back to them and have them honor their original agreement to return/refund with day full return/refund terms! I would like to add that to be perfectly clear I when I told them their bed Injured me I was met with attacks of rudeness and anger! And when I first purchased this bed I did so on the phone with a man who very clearly did tell me that there was a day return/refund policy if I was unhappy! Yet all I get in response from this company are inconsistent responses and lies! I will not agree to their terms to be blackmailed to pay return shipping charges when this bed is defective and they have already agreed to accept this return and on their own website it very clearly states they incur all shipping on defective products! My advisor has instructed and advised me on the laws and the fact that they would legally have to post any required shipping charges other than that on their website or in the original contract if I were to pay otherwise and since they have already agreed to return and refund this product that the since they state that on their website I can I fact file fraud charges if they fail to act on it! I have in writing the agreement stating they would give me a full refund upon return and I have a copy of their own words from their own website with which they state they will incur shipping charges on defective items so this delay is pointless and cruel and if it continues I will look into legal matters (which I was trying be kind and to avoid)!]

Mrs*** purchased a Queen size adjustable bed with a reversible dual comfort innerspring mattress and a lifetime limited warrantyIn addition, because mattress firmness/comfort is subjective, she received a 90-day in-home trial period where she could exchange her mattress for something firmer or
softer.Mrs*** accepted delivery of her bed and mattress on January 22thOn January 27th she called demanding to return her bed because her mattress was too firm for herIn addition she stated that while she was sleeping she believed the foot section of the bed rose upward on its ownMrs*** kept insisting that it must be a garage door opener that was causing the issueDue to the electronics used on this adjustable base model that situation would be nearly impossibleNonetheless, using a dual surge protector or replacing the okimatt motor would eliminate this issue if any.Our customer service representative tried in vain to schedule a service technician to go to her home (at no cost) to verify the problemThey also offered to exchange her mattress under the terms of the 90-Day in-home trial for something softerMrs*** became very difficult to work with because in all cases Mrs*** refused to allow anything other than a return of the merchandiseAlthough Sleep Comfort does not have a return policy for used beds, as a courtesy to her, we allowed Mrs*** to return her bed to the factory for a full refund as she demandedThe return shipping address and instructions were provided to herHowever she refused to return the beds herselfSleep Comfort offered to arrange for the pickup and return of her bed and she was quoted the return shipping fee of $provided by an independent shipping companyOnce again, she refused to return the bed because she did not want to be financially responsible for any costs.At this point there is little we can do beyond the scope of our offersWe have attempted to send a technician to her home to inspect and fix the bed if warranted at no cost to herWe have attempted to exchange her mattress for a softer mattress for a $exchange feeWe are willing to accept the return of this bed for a full refund but she must pay the return shipping feeIn all cases she is refusing to accept any financial responsibility and instead continues to complain that we are not helping herIf she would like to pursue any of the above remedies please let us know.Regards,
