Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: I was never told that I should not be using the stove. As stated before, we've had the chimney professionally cleaned every year since the or so years that we've had the stoveIt worked just fine before Sleep Easy Chimney Service serviced itThey did send someone out to reset the screw, but the weather hasn't been cold enough to use the stove to see how it operates now. I am very disappointed in the way we were treated by this company and no longer want to do business with them

We spoke to the customer told her she should not be using her stove in the first place because it was a fire hazardThat warning was not listened toThere was one screw that was not all the way in the black pipe so we went back out and put the screw back in all the wayThere was nothing we did to
change the way the stove operatedWhen we left the customer seemed ok

I have spoken with my technician about this appointment on at least two occasions, I have reviewed the pictures and the information that was provided to this particular customerI am a CSIA certified technician, the information that we provided is always what is the safest and meets city
code It is very disturbing to me that the customer would make such accusations when the pictures themselves are evidence that the chimney cap was removedIn this particular case the customer just did not want to understand the situation and the need to do to repair correctlyWe are not the cheapest company in town but we are not the most expensive eitherA lot of companies pop up this time of the year thinking they can work on chimneys, with no certifications and no formal trainingMost of the time their repairs and recommendations make things more dangerousThere will be no refund services were provided, information was correct
