Sleep Inn Motel

I stayed at the Sleep Inn in Wilson, NC on Dec 13, 2014. I had prepaid via my [redacted] rewards. When I checked in the front desk stated I had prepaid but they needed to charge my account $10 for my puppy. I gave them my card. I noticed a few days later they had actually charged my card $81 for the room. So ended up paying for the room twice. Once thru [redacted] rewards and once thru Sleep Inn. I contacted the manager of Sleep Inn and he rudely stated he would look into if I sent him proof they had charged me. I sent them a copy of my prepaid receipt from [redacted] and a copy of the withdrawal from my account by Sleep Inn. He contacted me back stating they would refund the money the next day. I checked my account and it still has not been refunded. I contacted him again and he said he "removed the authorization" I am not sure what he thought this would do but it did not return the $81 dollars they received from my bank account. The bank has also stated that they have not done this. It is now 12/30, the manager has not responded to my emails and I still do not have my refund. He also keeps stating it is the fault of [redacted] and I need to contact them. I have explained to him multiple times I do not have nor used an [redacted] card but used my bank card.Product_Or_Service: Hotel roomDesired SettlementI would like Sleep Inn to refund my money. Not provide a statement stating they removed an authorization. I want the charged amount returned to my account. This incorrect charge has caused me $70 in overdraft views due to their error and continued inability to do a simple refund, and personally I feel they owe me the overdraft fees also. Sleep Inn charged me when I had already paid for the room through [redacted] rewards. I have spoke to my bank as Sleep Inn wrongly charged my bank debit card. They must refund the money as every other business in America is cap able of doing.
