ID # [redacted] To whom it may concers, My name is [redacted] and I did work with the prior owner of the Sleep Inn & Suites and I currently work for the new ownersMs[redacted] did come to the front desk about 12am on 10/29/saying that the bed or beds had bed bugs and was immediately given a different room of the the same typeThe next morning I did speak to her and told her "we will get get our pest control man in and if he finds something we will take care of her." I never did say we would give a full refund.She never told me that she told the front desk clerk that she wanted to leave the hotelAbout days later 11/1/our pest control did find bed bugs and I was told by the owner to give a 15% refund off the night stay due to her having to move at such a late hourI had not called her yet at 8am on 11/1/when did the credit to her card since I did have til the end of my day at 3pm to call herShe did call me about 2pm and I did tell her we did take care of her and giving the 15% off the night stayI did explain to her we did give her another room of the same type and that's why we could not refund her the whole charge [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I did tell the man that was working the front desk that I did not want to take the room and that I wanted my money back. He stated that he did not have the authority to do that and that I would need to talk to Jenny who is the manager and that she would be in the next morning. I went to the front desk at 8am the next morning and told Jenny EVERYTHING that occurred that night regarding the bed bugs. I have friends that were with me that can corroborate this story as well. Why wouldn't I be offered my money back when they have bed bugs in a hotel full of people?! I still have not received the 15% back that I was told that I would get from the hotel.
