Kent Homes did receive an inquiry regarding the loss of shingles from this home/cottageAfter reviewing the files and speaking with departments within Kent Homes it was determined that the shingles were installed according to the scope of work used to build this home/cottage in I could not find any reports of shingle loss within the first year of ownership of this home/cottage Kent Homes offered year factory warranty that was standard in the industry at the time of the build of this home/cottageBased on warranty policies and that the one year factory warranty has expired, there is no warranty on this home for this request

I am rejecting this response because: There staff admit it was poor workmanship and below industry accepted practice. Please confirm if this is the end of using the BB as I will commence legal action

The warranty process is usually explained to homeowners by our retailers that sell our homesIn the case, I believe that the way it was explained by the salesperson that sold the home to the ***'s did not do an adequate jobIn the

I have contacted the ***'s and visited them to discuss their concernsI have implemented the process and we are following *** process to resolve all of the issues for the ***'s
We (Kent Homes, Site Contractor, *** Rep and our repair contractor) will meet with the ***s on *** at 1:to review all issues and come up with a plan to complete repairs in a timely manner

Every Kent Home sold comes with a 1-year limited factory warranty that begins the day the customer takes possession of the home
Kent Homes uses many products in the construction of a home within our factorySome examples of these products
are kitchen faucets, exterior windows, exterior doors and siding that is purchased from companies that we call Suppliers
A "Supplier" is an independent company that Kent Homes has purchased building products from that was used in the construction of a home at our factory
Most of the building materials used in the construction of a home comes with separate warrantiesThese warranties are offered by the supplier of the product and are subject to the supplier's terms and conditions
In this case, the faucet manufacturer's lifetime warranty means covering parts and/or a replacement faucet - labor to change is not included in their warranty
These warranties offered by the suppliers of these products are "separate and apart" from the warranty offered by Kent Homes and our Retailers
Upon completion of Kent Homes 1-year limited factory warranty, any warranty request for a supplier product used to construct your home will have to be communicated by the homeowner to the supplier of the product
There are many reasons that a supplier asks for a homeowner to be in contact with them directlyA couple of these reasons are confidentiality of a person's contact information and serial numbers that may be on the product within the home
A copy of the list of Suppliers that were used in the construction of Kent Homes is provided with each home that is soldThis list is as up to date as possible and is generated by the procurement department and the suppliers that sell us products that are used in the home
There are times, when our suppliers may discontinue a product or may have no stock of a product that was offered to us and a substitute product of equal quality is purchased to complete the construction of the home
All products supplied to Kent Homes are *** certified
Kent Homes Customer Service Department employees respond daily to past and present customers on a variety of questionsEach home is custom built to a floor plan and options that is unique to each customerAs a result, paper records, inventory slips, quantity take-offs and computer inventory is researched to see what was used in each home to answer a customer's questionUnfortunately, we cannot always account for a substitute that was used in the construction phase of the homeWe can confirm that any substitute is of equal quality

This issue is thisSince The promise from the product was for the kitchen taps to be lifetime warranty and given no direct contact with the supplier considering the documents were not accurate on the product listI do not believe that the care they promised to have in the construction of this mini home is true to their wordJust now to come inside the room, upon turning on the lights that were recently changed are flickeringI do not trust or believe this home is made with either care nor qualityI believe that if the taps were of the proper quality (***) we would not be looking at the extensive damage as a result of the fault that occurred from the leakingI think the response is a generic (not a problem) reply and in no way cares about the outcome of their so called valued customerMedia will be the next contact to resolve this issue

Based on warranty policies and that the one year factory warranty has expired, there is no warranty on this home for this request.
