I admired a group of trees planted at Old Fort Golf Course because they turned a brilliant red and held their leaves a long time before dropping them I asked them what kind they were and where they got them The superintendent told me he thought they were called "Sunset Maples" and they got them from Sleepy Hollow Nursery in ***, TN I called there and made arrangements to go there and pick one outI was directed to a certain area and picked one to be planted by them I was specific as to what kind I wanted the same kind planted in the islands of the parking lot at Old Fort Golf CourseThey said the tree would be planted after it had gone dormant in the late fall This was a relatively large tree of about 6" caliperWhen they arrived with the tree, all the leaves had fallen; it was bare I followed directions of keeping it watered during the following summer and waited for it
