We were contacted by this individual to file quarterly payroll tax returns (941's for Federal and State) and did so, for 2006 & 2007....

This individual prepared and filed their own quarterly filings for 2009 through [redacted] Online and never provided us with the original returns that were filed, so we would have been unable to prepare them without the original records. We were paid to prepare the 2006 & 2007 quarterly payroll filings, as well as their Corporate tax returns for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2010. Their complaint on those is that "I want a copy of that return as I paid for it and cannot find my copy". We've found that this individual has lost a lot of their records and is blaming us for not providing duplicates of things, when they were provided a copy the time of preparation; if we prepared them. We did not prepare or file their 2009 payroll tax returns and so we never invoiced them for this service. Prior to filing this this individual was provided a copy of the 2010 tax return they requested (it time to pull it from our off-site storage facility) as well as being provided documentation proving they prepared their own quarterlies for 2009.
