Tell us why here... [redacted]04/05/2016Dear [redacted] & Revdex.com,Ms. [redacted] signed up on the program on 01/05/2016. Her last recorded visit was on 03/29/16. Ms. [redacted] sent a...

request for a refund to the Revdex.com on _________but has continued to utilize the program. When Ms. [redacted] started the program, she weighed 217.6 pounds and had a goal weight of 154. She was presented our different options and chose the Elite Program which offers her everything she will need to complete her one year program.Ms. [redacted] was doing fine on the program and was given a 4 week follow up interview in which she had at that point lost 9.4 pounds and 12.5 inches. She stated in her 4 week follow up that she did not have any disappointments with our program. She also stated that she enjoyed the new healthy eating and feeling good. She stated that she had “more energy”. We asked her if she had any concerns or comments and she said “no”.  At four weeks into the program, she was following her meal plan, doing well, and only had positive things to say.In week five of the program, Ms. [redacted] was down to 205 which resulted in a weight loss of 12.6 pounds. Ms. [redacted] was averaging almost 3 pounds per week and that was with her having deviations on the program.Ms. [redacted] also signed a one paragraph, easy to understand, contract, that states “no refunds”.  Ms. [redacted] took advantage of the program on and off for three months. We feel that she indeed can and did lose the weight. We will work with Ms. [redacted] to continue to encourage her weight loss.As of this writing, we have worked with Ms. [redacted] by assigning her a new location, new counseling, and a fresh start to her program. We exchanged products for Ms. [redacted] as well. We wish Ms. [redacted] continued success on the Slim180 Program and we feel that both parties have reached an agreeable solution. The Advisory BoardSlim180

According to our records, this membership was cancelled back when the client had a doctor recommendation. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The chart was still active in the center and unfortunately, you received a call. Please be assured that your chart has been removed from the location. Good...

luck to you in your future endeavors.

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience. I will personally make sure you are taken off of the list immediately. Please accept my sincere apology.Sincerely,[redacted]Director, Slim180

Dear Revdex.com,Wow, I am so shocked! I cannot even believe I am responding to this complaint. As you can see, we have many happy clients and we are trying very, very, hard to deliver great customer service and lots of love and care for our clients, especially this one! Mr. [redacted] is a very gentle and...

sweet man. He started our program at 327 pounds and in six weeks got down to 310 pounds with a 17 pound weight loss averaging roughly 3 pounds per week. The staff loved Mr. [redacted] whom is a struggling pastor of a small church. The staff came to me because they wanted to help Mr. [redacted] because he was a pastor. Our company believes in giving to the community and helping those less fortunate, so we assisted Mr. [redacted] by tithing FREE product as our way of giving back. We gave Mr. [redacted], FREE OF CHARGE, $554 worth of products so he could continue to be successful. As you can see, Mr. [redacted] used our program for over 10 weeks and for that reason, we are unable to give him a refund. We are terribly disturbed and saddened by this report. We do wish Mr. [redacted] continued success in his weight loss endeavors.

This is to advise on 22 April, I went to the SLIM 180 office in Florissant and requested a refund.  My Doctor did send a fax regarding health reasons I cannot participate in this extreme diet.I had to fill out a questionnaire concerning the diet and its side effect.  I was informed it will take (3) weeks for them to make a decision and to contact me.  I offered them the product back as it is still intact minus (2) snack bars and some BURN pills.  She will also let me know if they will accept the unused portion of the medications, teas, etc.Just wanted to let you know where we are in this matter.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,

Dear Revdex.com,[redacted] signed up for our program on 10/14/2017. She signed  an agreement that we would debit $73.47 out of her account, once a month for four months. When we did as the agreement stated, she called the center with hostility and threatened the staff that she would come down and...

harass the staff. The staff was afraid of her and they called the corporate office to see what they should do. We decided to reverse the charge and dismiss her from the program because she was aggressive. The supervisor called her and told her that we would reverse the charge of $73.47 and end her agreement. Several days later, she called another supervisor and stated that she would complain to the Revdex.com because we did not reverse the charges. We have credit card receipts that indeed, we did what we told her we would do. The supervisor pointed out that we reversed charges and to call her bank because it probably had not posted. When the supervisor talked with [redacted], she said the reason she did not want to continue the program was because she needed the money and could not afford to continue with her signed contract. We then asked that she correct the information she posted on the Revdex.com. She stated that she would "pray about it". We then received this second notice on Revdex.com from [redacted]. We have supporting documents such as credit card receipts, signed contracts and [redacted]'s visits to the center. We might add that [redacted] started at 217.8 pounds and in six weeks lost her first 15 pounds. After the initial 6 weeks, [redacted] became sparse in her visits until she decided that she did not want to stick to the program. [redacted] has an outstanding balance with us which we agreed to cancel her contract. She also has used $360 worth of product, all books/materials in her possession. She is requesting money back. Unfortunately we are unable to do this as she used our program for two months, lost 15 pounds in her first 6 weeks, and has all of our product & material. What we will do is cancel the remaining signed agreement and end her program. We are sorry that [redacted] could not afford our program. We tried to accommodate her by giving her a one year program for FREE so we could help her reach her weight loss goals. We are sorry that we could not help her. Sometimes when individuals want out of a signed contract, they try and discredit the company so that they can get a refund. It is unfortunate, but we do see this on occasion. We wish her luck in the future!Sincerely,The Advisory Board, Slim180

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2015/10/29) */
Ms. [redacted] started the Slim180 program in May of 2015. She continued with counseling visits for approximately two weeks and never mentioned hives at that time. In that time, Ms. [redacted] lost over 7 pounds. Ms. [redacted] still has not contacted us to...

advise that she was having any medical issues. She also did not request a refund. In fact, this Revdex.com notice is the first time we have heard of her hives. We have continuously called and left her voicemails to get her back in and utilized the program. Ms. [redacted] is not required to utilize Slim180's supplements; the supplements assist in quicker weight loss. The success of our program is based off regular grocery store foods and the support from our weight loss counselors. The program is not a program where you can use it, lose some weight, and then request a refund. Our contract states that you have consulted your physician before beginning and that you are in good health. Ms. [redacted] was doing the program successfully and never indicated any reason that she stopped coming in. We feel that we have held up our contractual agreement with her and provided her with excellent service. We would be willing to continue to work with her or she may gift the remaining amount of time to a friend or family member. If necessary, we would also be willing to restart her program. We often work with doctors to find the right blend of foods for the client but the client has to be willing to follow the program.

Ms.[redacted] started the Slim180 program in October of 2014. She continued with counseling visits and utilized the program for approximately 8 months. Ms. [redacted] lost nearly twenty pounds on the program and then requested a refund. Ms. [redacted]...

signed up for a one year program which included weight loss, stabilization, and maintenance. She utilized her weight loss portion as well. The program is not a program where you can use it, lose some weight, and then request a refund. Our contract states that you have consulted your physician before beginning and that you are in good health. Ms. [redacted] did the program successfully for a long period of time and then wanted a refund. We worked with her as she stated in her response and feel that we have held up our contractual agreement with her and provided her with excellent service. We would be willing to continue to work with her or she may gift the remaining amount of time to a friend or family member. If necessary, we would also be willing to place her program on hold until she is ready to begin again. We have sent doctor progress reports to her physician and we often work with doctors to find the right blend of foods for the client but the client has to be willing to follow the program.
