I bought a slime tube for a 700 road bike tire, the first time I went out with it there was a puncture, pin size, and had to put a patch on it, there was no "sealing" effect with this tube whatsoever.

Review: I'd purchased the companys' Slime tire sealant online (to patch a bicycle inntertube), on June 2 2014. Was via an eBay seller located in Henderson NV. Paid $8.74, for a 16 oz container. Product worked for a little over 2 mos (used on or about 6.5.14. I followed the directions too). Slow leak came back in Mid August. Product no longer working as advertised. I cycle on a road (in good condition)-around 20 miles a week. BTW, bike tires are in good condition. inntertube had a small puncture (very small). Tried to file a refund claim on their Web site (http://slime.com/contact/claim-center/). Was not allowing me to do so (date was always in the wrong format? Changed-did not work). Attached image too large? Could not send anything (dead Web page?). Followed format of Web page to file a refund claim, and sent an email with attached tire images to [email protected] and [email protected] (10.22). I've received nothing. No reply. No response. My bike tire will not hold air + I do not have a replacement innertube on me. Product advertised to last a year (or close to-with proper usage-which I'd adhered to). I got a little over 4 and a half mos usage. BTW, I'd tried complying on my end (completing refund request online).Desired Settlement: I'd like to receive a full $8.74 refund. I cannot file a refund claim via eBay (has been over a month + this issue is not the online seller's fault). I tried reapplying slime gel to the leaking innertube. Not working (not holding air after one day). I cannot see where the leak is coming from./ Valve stem is fine + insert in innertibe valve correctly reinserted. The slime adds advertise a full refund if product does not work. I do not have an injury claim. I just want a refund.

We are sorry that our sealant is not performing to your expectations, Without being able to inspect the inner tube, it is hard to say what the trouble is but I suspect that there is damage to the tube in an area outside the tread area that is not allowing the sealant to perform properly. In any case, we stand behind our products and we would be more than happy to refund your purchase price if you could provide us with a copy of your proof of purchase.We received 3 photographs of your flat bicycle tire, but we did not receive a copy of your receipt.
