6 Months Later and Still No Refund After Being Promised One
In December of 2016 I signed up for this product. Each month $44.93 was taken from my account. In August of 2017 an additional $89.03 was withdrawn. I then cancelled my subscription. In September I emailed customer service and was told by Jannen that I would receive a check with the amount of $89.03 that I was charged. Weeks went by and there was still no check. I've called customer service twice a month since September and still no refund has been issued. I have never talked to the same person twice about my issue. Each and every time it was always the same story "We will forward this on to upper management and they will give you a call." From September until the end of January I never received a phone call from "upper management" even with me calling twice a month and each representative telling me that they were forwarding my problems on. Finally on January 31st 2018 I received a phone call from a supervisor named Martine. She didn't help at all and told me the same information that every other representative has said. She said she will forward it on to uppper management and they will call me. On February 19th 2018 I talked to a representative named Mike and told him how frustrated I was with the entire situation. It's been almost 6 months since I received the email stating that I would be getting a refund and no one seems to have any answers for me. They had no problem taking money out of my account every month but for some reason they can't credit me my money that was taken out as their own fault. Their customer service leaves little to be desired and the "upper management" department has to be the slowest department if they can't make a phone call after receiving multiple complaints from one customer. I threatened to complain to the Revdex.com on my last phone call to the company and that seemed to get the representative's attention but I still haven't received a phone call or my refund. It's not like I am demanding a refund on my own, they emailed me saying one would be issued to me yet it's been almost six months and I still have yet to see anything. I am beyond frustrated with the entire company and their lack of customer service.

Desired Outcome

My refund of $89.03 from the company charging me by mistake.

After reviewing Ms.' complaint we want to apologize for any confusion. The package you received is a full thirty day supply, we do not offer sample sizes. We sent you a full size bottle and allow you to try it for the 14 day trial period to see if you like it, for just the cost of shipping and handling. If you like the product after your trial, you are billed for the actual cost of the product and enrolled in a monthly subscription. The reason we send you a full 30 day supply to try is because of the overwhelming response and feedback from customers who love the product, and want to continue seeing their results. We sincerely apologize about the delay in Ms.' refund check getting to her. We have gotten an updated address for Ms. and have resent a check in the amount of $89.03 to her in the mail. In addition, her account with us is inactive; therefore, she will not receive any further shipments. We hope she is satisfied with our business and we want to apologize for the delay or any inconveniences this may have caused.

I don't accept this response because I talked to the company a day before this was written and they continued to give me the same line and let me know someone would call me. I will believe and accept the response when I receive my check in the mail.

Also I find it extremely rude that they copy and paste the beginning of each response to their customers. I said NOTHING about their sample, sizes or length of the "trial" and find it rude that they automatically started with that line. It would be much more appreciated if everything was written to each angry customer so that they felt like they were being listened to.

I received my refund check today. Thank you Revdex.com!

Sent for a sample and paid 4.95 shipping. I did not realize they would start shipping every month and charging. This has gone on for months. The shipping information did not show that I was being charged, I finally noticed my credit card was being charged. I called the number in an e-mail on Cot. 25, 2017. Not sure where the call center is, but their English was awful. Did manage to get a cancellation number. The next day I received another e-mail stating my item had shipped. Sure enough they had charged me. Called my credit card company and they put a hold on it.. went through anyway.
Called them back today (Nov. 9, 2017). Still had a communication issue. Was told I could get a 50% refund on just the 1 bottle. FYI I have 2 unopened bottles of Forskolin Extract and 2 unopened bottles of Garcinia Cambogia.
Sure wish I had check Revdex.com first. Lesson learned.
Buy the way, my doctor does not recommend taking either.

Misleading "free trial" leading to overblown charging for an autoship that was not agreed upon. Would not return for full refund.
Ordered the "free" trial of both Forskolin Extract and Garcinia Cambogia in July 2017. Product did nothing. Was notified by email that our next shipment had shipped at over $80 per bottle. Called the company to cancel something that we had never signed up for. They canceled our "subscription" and offered a partial refund. When I asked for a full refund of the unopened packages the customer service rep said that he could not process that at this time but I can call back at any time to receive an RGA to send the product back for a full refund. There were no stipulations or time frames given for this offer. That was the end of August. I attempted to call several time since then with no response on the other end. I was able to reach them on Oct 6 and was told that I cannot return the items because it was over 30 days. When I told them that was never conveyed verbally or via email about any time frames they simply told me their shipping department could not receive anything over 30 days. When asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told there were no supervisors on the floor at this time. I persisted and was transferred to a floor supervisor miraculously. She tried to tell me it had been "months" since I ordered and spoke with customer service. I corrected her and said it had been 45 days. She refused a full refund and offered a partial 35% refund. This is an insult and bad business. The $80 bottle of Garcinia can be purchased at any pharmacy for under $6. They never disclosed pricing ahead of time or any return/time frame restrictions. The invoice numbers are XXXXXX and XXXXXX. This company runs as nothing short of a scam. Bad business practices, misleading product offerings and shady billing practices.

Desired Outcome

I want the entire amount of this refunded as offered when I initially canceled my "subscription". I want them to stand behind their business.

After reviewing Mr. complaint we would like to apologize for the misunderstanding. Because we do not offer sample sizes, we allow our customers to try our full 30 day supply of product at only the cost of shipping and handling for a limited time of 14 days. Once your trial period expires, you are billed the retail price of the product and enrolled in a subscription to see more effective results with our product. Our records indicate Mr. accepted a 35% refund to keep our product. Because customer satisfaction is important to us, we have refunded him the remaining charges. This amounts to a total of $115.04. Please allow 3-5 business days for this refund to process on to his bank account. In addition, his account with us was cancelled when he called in on 10/06; therefore, he will not receive any further shipments. We hope he is satisfied with our business and we would like to apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.
