It is gone over in our Terms & Conditions that MrH [redacted] agreed to upon checkout of his order that if a lost package occurs we have to submit a claim to the shipping company to see if they could recover the package and redeliver it and possibly check and make sure there is no criminal activity involvedWe checked back with USPS about the claim and they said they should give us a call back with their decision either today (1-11-18) or Friday (1-12-18) and once they reach their claim decision and see if they could recover the package, then if truly lost we could either send out a new one for MrH [redacted] or a refund if he requestsThis would be a standard operating procedure for any lost package from us, we do apologize that it is taking USPS so long to conduct their claim, with this time of year they are over flooded with claims due to lost packages so which is why it is taking longer than time

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:According to the response, they are going to send another item or refund once they hear from USPS Why do I need to wait for a response that doesn't effect the outcome I'm very confused as to how this makes sense I ordered a part (almost months ago), I paid for it (almost months ago), and I never received it They have my money, and I have nothing to show for it I'm trying to be as understanding as possible However, I am an area manager in retail, and this way of doing business totally baffles me.Regards, G [redacted] ***

MrH*** contacted us on 12-informing us he didn't receive this package that USPS tracking information said it was delivered on 11/We opened up a USPS claim on 12-for him and then after some confusion with shipping address as MyH*** has used multiple shipping address for his orders we
figured out that it was delivered to another address than he thought which we then canceled the claim with USPSMrH*** than contacted us back on 12-saying it still wasn't at the address so we then opened up the claim again on 12-which we are waiting to hear back from USPSWe have informed and assured Gary that once USPS has finished their claim we can either send a replacement one to him or a full refundWhen we followed up with USPS last week about the claim they mentioned they have been extremely busy due to the holiday season, but should be getting back to us within the next week about the claims departments conclusionWe hope to hear from them by the end of this week about this claim and we can either send replacement or issue a refund, whichever MrH*** would like
