Sloan's Exterminators

Review: We purchase the house on October 3 and we get a certificate that the house was fumigated on September 23. It was not our decision to choose this company, it was the escrow who choose Sloans exterminator. We remove the carpet from one of the bedroom and find alive termites that actually destroying the wood floor from the top (between carpet and wood floor). This termites did not get true the floor yet and we ask to treat this area before we put a new floor. The Sloans exterminator scheduled an appointment on October 18 for the treatment, we ask to come earlier due to it is not a good idea sleep in the room with kids knowing that termites are visible on the floor and it is urgent due to not complete the work at first place. Customer service refused to provide us with the same week service. When I receive a call from the owner of the company, he told me that they scheduled for the inspection on October 18 and after that they will treat the termites. Looks like since we find the termites and the time we will get an inspector, we need to wait 2 weeks and after that another time to get technician to do the work. We are not satisfied with this service at all it is visual alive termites on the floor and I have kids and dogs, who could touch and even could put in the mouth this alive creatures for 2 weeks. I would like to get a refund $ 1445.00 was paid by escrow (2 years warranty) for the fumigation back and will hire different company to kill the termites.Desired Settlement: We would like to get $ 1445.00 (paid by escrow) and we will go with different company who will provide better service (as exemple Terminix - I never have any problem with them for the last 10 years)

I am already tired of all not truthfully info that Sloan’s provide. They NEVER call me to schedule an appointment – I call them 3 times beginning of October. This is our vacation house and it’s located over an 1 Hour drive from my permanent house and 2 hours from my work. My broker call me and ask if I could make appointment around 5:00 p.m. some day and I was agreed to that, but SLOAN’s NEVER CALL. If they can’t fix their job in almost 2 month, they should by a 2 year protection plan (what we have with Sloan’s) from other company who works flexible hours (Terminix – they work late hours and Saturdays)
