Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: A crew of men arrived to make a slight repairYou will see this in the video I providedWhile this might fix the leak in the room that I had to pay to repair the ceiling that collapsedAs noted in the original complaint, my bedroom does has a leak as wellI have attached a current photo of the water stain and the ceiling in starting to crack from the weight of the wet insulationSince this issue has been basically in the back part of the house, I only think it's fair that [redacted] Roofing honor their warranty and replace the whole section of the back roof before any more damage comes of thisTheir worker said that the shingle didn't have any more adhesive on it which cause it to come apart from the roofI do want to be reimbursed for my out of pocket expenseMy insurance deductible is $1,000.00, so I paid out of pocket to fix this repairFix entire section of back roofReimburse me for the expense of paying for the repairI am not a rich personNow I am worried that a heavy rain might bring down another bedroom ceiling due to the shingles not being of quality material and coming apart Regards, [redacted] ***

After reviewing contract..no flashing work was included in bid The flashing was installed originally by builder or before we installed roofMrs [redacted] hired a roofing contractor to fix problemdid not notify us of porch ceiling replacement cost after the fact So we don't agree on paying for something that is not our fault in the first placeJ R [redacted] Roofing [redacted]

We have been to jobsite...have located the leak It has nothing to do with the roof The A/C unit pan is rotting out, water is infiltrating thru it The pan has to be replaced.Has nothing to do with the roof Would need to fix or replace the unit...not the roof I've attached picutres ...please review

We have been to the property above to inspect roof Last Feb there was a major hail storm After the hail storm we were called to survey damage, we concluded roof needs to be replaced Insurance claim needs to be filed On our second inspection...damage was more visible No need for repairs, only replacement We will keep in contact and corporation with customer to assure her satisfcation

I am rejecting this response because: Regarding their response that it rained a good amount last week and they state that the roof did not leakOn my side of town it only rained for a couple of hours, while the downpour was indeed a good amountI personally went into my attic about day after it rained and inspected it and it did have sections that you could clearly see were wet/dampI did not have a chance to take a picture because it was too dark for my ipad to take the pic, but next time I will plug in a light fixture to get proper lighting in that areaAs for their comments that the warranty only will cover repairs on the labor & materials, well where is the repair that I am owe by this roofing company? I want my roof fixed! I do not want them to come every time a new leak appears, I would like the whole back section fixed completely, not just patch up jobsI like to give my services to the small businesses of San Antonio, give them a chance to make some moneyBut this type of going back & forth makes it very discouraging to even consider another small businessThe company is supposedly Bonded or do they just put that on their website to give advertisement? I would like to see some action, not just wordsThey clearly know there is a problem and yet they do nothingThe worker told me that the adhesive had come off the shingles when they came to work on the patchYou can clearly see that on the video, when he lifts it up.

It has since rained a good amount last week and the roof did not leak Our warranty covers for repairs on the labor and materials It does not cover sheetrock repairs or interior repairsWe can not pay the $dollars....if we would have been notified of interior damage We could have send our own painter to save money

I am rejecting this response because: the damage is in color variation in shingles installed there are several colors. When [redacted] came to survey damage nothing was found due to hail I told him of the color variations he immediately opted for me to file claim with my insurance. Rather than fixing there mistake in install. Some of the supposed damaged shingles his employee said all that had to be done was flatten down raised shingles no need to replace entire roof. As this company is only seeking to make money by replacing a new roof that was poorly installed by the [redacted] roofing company.
