Small Engine Service Center

I had a 4.0 h.p. [redacted] 21 inch push mower that would not start. I took this mower to small engine service center in june, 2013. I asked them to check the engine's compression. they did so. twice. it had 62 p.s.i. pounds of compression in the cylinder. I asked them if this was enough compression to run this engine? they said "yes". I took the mower home. it would not start. I took the mower back to small engine service center. I asked them to check the compression again. they did so. it was about 65 p.s.i. they told me this was enough compression to run the engine. I asked them to fix it. they never filled out an order sheet with my name, the date, my address, my phone number, and the type (brand) of my mower. they gave me a tab with their number on it, and a numerical number. they kept this mower 2 weeks in june, 2013. I kept calling them back. they told me they did not know what was wrong with the mower. at the beginning of the 3rd week, I called them. they told me "there is a significant lack of compression, with scarring and pitting in the cylinder walls". I asked them how much I owed them? they told me $30.50. I left the mower with them. I went by [redacted] in bartlett, tenn., and told him what had happened. he told me he never charges for just finding out what the compression is. and, that 62 p.s.i. is not enough to run an engine. that they should have known this. I bought another mower. I wanted this mower back for parts, so, I called small engine service center back today. they could not find my mower. I asked them why? they told me they had sold my mower to [redacted] on [redacted] in [redacted]. I believe these people purposely never filled out an order sheet knowing that 62 p.s.i. was not enough to run this engine, and, had no obligation to call me to pick it up.Desired Settlementthis company (small engine service center-millington, tenn.) checked the compression two times in june, 2013. two different. a mechanic. and, the owner of the store. they got 62 p.s.i. each time. I asked them if this was enough to run this engine. twice. they each time told me "yes". they should have known 62 p.s.i. was not enough to run this engine. I need an apology from these people for deceiving me. and, for getting rid of this mower.
