I see where they are saying that it is blowing oilI will almost guarantee you that if they grabbed the flywheel that they would be able to move it up and downThey didn't get a good ground and the clutch arched and that is also why the screen and fan on the flywheel are hitting the shroud now The broken bolts have happened because the main bearing is now out of the engine and is allowing the crankshaft to move up and down The engine was not grounded good and the customer’s electrical clutch arced causing the crankshaft to look for a ground which ate away at the main bearing and then the sealing surface of the oil seal could not cover the entire area as it had before and oil leaked out We have seen this happen about times over the past years and over more than 210,engines that we have sold in that time Small Engine Warehouse did not install this kit and [redacted] at [redacted] is at fault in this matter Thanks, [redacted] COO / Purchasing ManagerSmall Engine Warehouse, IncMuncie, IN - Dunkirk, IN765-287-Direct · 800-321-Toll Free · 765-287-Fax %

We have purchased several items from Small Engine WarehouseThe first item was a power washerThere was an issue immediately when we started the power washer because they did not drain all of the oil out of it before it was shipped, but since it is a Honda engine we were able to have it serviced under the warrantyThen we ordered (2) pumps and later (1) pump each at a pieceAll of our purchases were with the understanding that each item comes with a day warrantyThe last pump that was purchased stopped working within a month and a halfWhen I called to speak with customer service about the issue I was told that a case would be opened up and a tech would call me backAfter a week, no call from the tech, I called back and talked with the lady who said that she would look into it, but the pump was sold so there was nothing they could doI advised her that we made the purchase because we were told that there was a day return policy (warranty)She told me that unless we have paper work to prove that is what we were told from their customer service representative then there is nothing they can doWe did not want our money back, we just wanted a pump that workedNo one offered us anything to reconcile the fact that we spent almost on an item that obviously was defective from the startNeedless to say that we will not be purchasing anything else from this company

Worst service and customer service I've experiencedParts people are unconcerned and half interestedDropped off unit to be fixed, couldn't get a response, call back, or someone who could give yes or no to unit being ready for a weekI won't go back, there are better places to spend our money

I’m sorry our customer is dissatisfied with their purchase.   Unfortunately, we are limited when we offer verbal advice on how to resolve mechanical issues via phone call...

and/or email.  It’s challenging to help our customers install equipment when we do not see the whole picture.   Our Certified Mechanics offered several suggestions to help the customer install the kit onto his tractor for himself.   We recommend if he is uncomfortable completing the installation himself, he should seek a Certified Briggs & Stratton mechanic in Indianapolis or bring the unit and the tractor to our shop located in Muncie, Indiana to complete the process for him.   Customer was advised of terms of purchase at the time of purchase: No returns on electrical items, special orders, or engines filled with gas and/or oil. No returns after 14 days. Outgoing and Incoming shipping charges will not be refunded.   The engine itself is covered by a 3 year Briggs & Stratton Manufacture Warranty from date of purchase.  All added other Kit Parts are covered for Warranty by Small Engine Warehouse, Inc. for 90 days from date of purchase. Shipping costs are not covered by Warranty coverage. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs.   Warranty consideration is not a guarantee costs will be covered by warranty.     Diann J[redacted] Accounting SupervisorSmall Engine Warehouse, Inc.765-287-3440 Direct· 765-287-3493 Fax· 800-321-6725 Sales

good ground and the clutch arched and that is also why the screen and fan on the flywheel are hitting the shroud now.  The broken bolts have happened because the main bearing is now out of the engine and is allowing the crankshaft to move up and down.

The engine was not grounded good and the customer’s electrical clutch arced causing the crankshaft to look for a ground which ate away at the main bearing and then the sealing surface of the oil seal could not cover the entire area as it had before and oil leaked out.

We have seen this happen about 15 times over the past 17 years and over more than 210,000 engines that we have sold in that time
Small Engine Warehouse did not install this kit and [redacted] at [redacted] is at fault in this matter.

The Small Engine Warehouse is ignoring my complaint that they sold me the wrong item. The fact that they sold me the wrong item is very clear in the pictures I have sent them. It appears as though they do not care to, or have not asked anyone in their service department to explain the difference in the item they sold me and the item they portrayed in their pictures. They will not answer simple yes or no questions either; all good indicators of some mistake, stratagem subterfuge or maneuver on their part. All communication with their so called “master technician” and now their next level of customer service is the same. Vague indifference … with a “we are right, you are wrong attitude” Until they answer my simple questions they are hiding something
