This situation was the result of a delinquent winning bidder of ours who was unable to pay for his purchases and therefore sent us consignment material for my company, Small Traditions LLC, to auction for him in order to cover his...
invoice. This is not an ideal situation for either our seller, [redacted], or for Small Traditions. In short, we were forced to either accept our bidder's consignment material in lieu of his payment or cancel his purchases and mark the items on which he had bid as unsold. The material which our delinquent bidder sent in lieu of payment has been graded and certified by Small Traditions and listed in our August 2016 Auction. I have informed [redacted] of these details, to which he has kindly responded with his full understanding. [redacted] and I have agreed that his consignment settlement will be paid in full at the end of this month, August 2016, at which point agrees to close this complaint. Furthermore, as a token of our appreciation for his patience and understanding, I have agreed to pay all of [redacted]'s costly grading and authentication fees for all of his material which my company, Small Traditions LLC, has sold. Normally, these costly fees are deducted from our consignment sellers' sales.
