Ms. [redacted] was never promised a refund; rather, she was informed that her file needed to be reviewed to confirm whether or not she was eligible for a refund. A review of her file proved that not only was Ms. [redacted] ineligible for a refund, but she owed money to our company for not paying for her...

last week, as we have a two-week notice policy. She was fully aware of the two-week notice rule and signed the contract that explained the policy in full. The only promise we made as to refunds was the 50$ yearly curriculum fee, which we said we would remove from her account. After that Ms. [redacted] owes us a total of 294$. Ms. [redacted] states that we have been evading her correspondence, implying that we are trying to get out of issuing her a refund. The dozens of emails going back and forth between her, our center, and corporate proves otherwise, as we have made it very clear to her that no refund will be issued, and that we expect her to pay the rest of her bill. 2 days after Ms. [redacted] gave her notice the Young Infant room was opened. She states that we told her we were no longer going to open the Young Infant room, which is false. It was always our plan to open the Young Infant room, however we wanted to wait until our new staff was fully trained in order to give the best care possible to our children. We notified her of this, but she had already made her decision, which we respected. We regret that Ms. [redacted] has had an unpleasant experience throughout all this. As it stands she still owes us 294$. She has been informed that we will be taking the issue to court if the remainder of her bill is not paid in a timely manner. ATTN: Attached to this message are printouts of the aforementioned emails, as well as a copy of the contract.
